Ok i read a few posts on hotukdeals saying that t-mobile has delayed the release because of software problems?

Has anyone actually received one?
It might be a reason to fob people off for having low stock?

Just sounds like T Mobile being a bit naughty with advertised release dates to me. Unless they have negotiated some sort of exclusivity deal to release the Desire a week early and get the jump on everyone else which is doubtful i can see it being rolled out at the same time to everyone

Here's hopefully my final update. I spotted over on HUKD that despatch emails were being sent to those who ordered online. I rang them up and they confirmed that 1700 handsets had come in today at 1300. In 45 minutes, 400 of those had gone already. He checked through my order, and made sure that my phone was despatched today for Saturday delivery. :j

Got an email about half an hour ago saying my phone had been sent, should get it tomorrow or monday.

Dilemma.. don't want to leave 3, but, I'm not really seeing a choice.

Over 24 months, the costs work out thus:

Three:

Mobile Broadband: £180 (50% off for having a mobile contract)
SIM £15/30 day: £360
HTC Desire: £400 (SIM Free)
Total: £940

T-Mobile:
Mobile Broadband: £360 (losing the 50% discount)
SIM £10/24 month: £240 (100 mins/unlimited texts/unlimited internet)
HTC Desire: £164
Quidco: -£20
Total: £744

£196 difference!

I went instore to have a look and the guy said that the system says that that stock has been delayed due to "software problems". H said he thinks that it will be sorted out by end of next week.
