Today I went in the charities in my lunch break and got a pair of shorts for DH for £1, a DIY burglar alarm for DS to make over the holidays for £1, a cute T-shirt with a Labrador on for £1 and two pillowcases for 75p that match the £1 quilt cover I got in there 3 weeks ago, yay!
When I went to ASDA tonight I got DS 2 pairs of school shorts that said "Were £3 - now £2" and the tag said they were £5 originally, so they should have been £3 each."There is no substitute for time."

My daughter, grandchildren and dog visited and took the dog for a walk - and came back with a bag full of sweet little wild damsons. She told me that in her locality, some five miles from me, she's had a few bags of sweet wild cherries recently - she was polite and left some for others. My daughter donated half the damsons. I think people must assume because they are wild, they will be bitter, which isn't the case. Or perhaps foraging hasn't taken off around here - surprising!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

Reverbe, I did think about it, but the bag was VERY LARGE and the stuff was all in a tangle, not at all cared for. If someone forgot it then they can't have been very attached to it. Sorry but I don't believe in spoon feeding people and if someone isn't responsible for their property they should take the consequences. Anyway I'm very poor tooNat West CC,£2112.83 Nat West BankA/C £441.48 Egg Money £15?? Alliance & Leicester £546.92

I went to post some e bay stuff but got the time wrong, (Post office closed for lunch) so I went for a little walk, saw a carrier bag at a bus stop sat down to have a look and inside were several phone chargers, Nokia Blackberry, Samsung, various USB leads and sundry other such stuff, all of which I shall be selling, some already to the computer shop near me.
Just goes to show that small errors can bring rewards
Shouldn't you take them to the police station first? Someone might report them missing. By not making attempts to find the owner it could be construed as theft if you sell them - someone was charged with "theft by finding" once.0 -
Had another bilberry picking session on the moors this week and our grand total is now 20lb 10oz! That's an awful lot of tiny berries! They are now safely stashed away in the "fruit & veg" freezer in readiness for making jam, pies and crumbles. Now waiting for the wild blackberries ripening and box loads of those will be joining them!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Whilst cutting back overgrown bush found a new load of blackberries so making a batch of muffins for when friends visit today. Made pasta and pesto with free sample I received and dh loved it. Haven't been on pigs back for a while but managed to click to get some more points and now have ten pound voucher heading my way which will go towards my Christmas list.MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000
