We bought our new TV from John Lewis a couple of weeks ago, and the delivery men took away our huge old CRT telly complete with its stand, we were made up as would have had trouble getting it to the tip!0 -

I got my Sony 32EX403 tv (£349.00) delivered this afternoon by JL.
It is connected to SKY HD & it is a lovely picture.
They also collected the old 36" crt TV even though it was not on their job notes. I had an email confirmation that they would collect as a trade in. I wanted to get rid of the old one eventhough it had 5.1 surround built in & also a beautiful picture ( it was a heavy beast.
I am now waiting for a Panasonic TX P50V20 to be released & then the 32" Sony be used in the bedroom.0 -

When I bought my sony from comet this week I didn't have my tv with me, the manager at comet told me he would do the deal anyway. He said he had a ton of tv's just stacking up in his warehouse and was just taking up space. Another store had extra old tv's out the back which they said i could use as a trade in. Maybe other stores will do the same thing.0 -
Is M&S doing any sony trade in offers??
It looks like JL, M&S and richer sounds are doing the 5 yr warranty (richer sounds with a small amount though).
The prices at JL seems to be high these days !!!0 -

Hey,
Can you tell me how to use topcashback on M&S as well as get the trade-in discount?0 -

Just bought this model from M and S on line and it does have Freesat and Freeview. I had to double check. We cannot receive Freeview but had the old Sky dish. So saving on Sky fees now.
Freesat is great. TV is fantastic. Liked the 5 year guarantee, free installation and price was OK by me at £599.
Tried Curry's shop- oh dear - Went in determined to buy an LG or Sony. Why don't they train their staff properly? Was given such inaccurate info that I walked out. Even I knew more about the TV's. Stock was low. A lot of display models to clear. No logic to displays so difficult to compare brands or sizes. They were pushing a low spec Samsung model.0 -
Bought the Sony Bravia kdl 32EX403 from Marks & Spencer yesterday. It cost me £399 that included a £100 allowance on my old telly. There was also a five year guarantee which must also be worth a few pound.
So far I'm just new fangled with it and to be honest I won't understand how some of it works until I get hold of my nephew, he'll help me understand the computer end of the system, and the networking.
Good picture, good sound and I'm able to pick up the Rep. of Ireland's fta digital signals
All in all I'm very pleased

I managed to get a great deal on a 40inch Sony bravia with full hd and freeview from richer sounds. Only £439.99 with a 5year guarantee, this was price including £100 trade in. Was very happy with this deal as exactly same tv was £649 in tesco with only standard guarantee.0
