is that £299 one?? i rang them today and asked if they are going to have any stocks soon and the lady said nobut amazon has it for £299 at the moment whilst it was £349 couple of days ago..
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble :whistle:0 -
The 299 one is the EX401 - i.e. the one with normal freeview, and not freeviewHD. Good deal if it's what you want!0

Sony Bravia KDL32EX301U 32-Inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview - Sony
£299
is this any good?i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble :whistle:0 -
I'm very seriously interested in the Sony Bravia KDL32EX403U from John Lewis. It seems to be coming in at £449 plus £100 scrappage plus a five year guarantee. Seems very good value.
I seen this in the store but noticed they were only giving £50 off
I had a look when I came home and could see the webpage says £100 discount.
However when you click on the terms and conditions it states 32" and 37" tellys get £50 off so I'm not sure if the £100 trade in code will work or not.0 -

I received this from JL today:Further to your recent request, we are pleased to advise you that the Sony Bravia KDL32EX403U LCD HD 1080p Television, 32 inch with Built-in Freeview HD is now in stock.
Please note that as in our shops, prices may change while we are waiting for new stock to arrive.
I'm still anxious to know if the television will pick up DTT from the Irish Republic, where I live I get a very strong signal. Any Irish readers know?0 -

suppossed to, but the driver that delivered mine had no interest in taking away the part exchange tv. weird cos it was only a 14" portable so not exactly heavy0 -
hmmm, and how many times do you come home with new clothes, even though you have a wardrobe (or 3) full of 'em already. Men, am I right
Ha ha this made me laugh as I hate shopping for clothes - my hubbie is the one telling me to buy them lol.
I'm trying to convince my fiancee that as we are decorating the lounge this summer, that if we want to find the space to put a fireplace in (don't have one), then there'll be no room for a telly unless we stick it on the wall. And I'm spending bonus money, not the 'providing for my family' money (no I'm not a finance worker, nor was it a huge bonus).
I think the issue will be when it arrives and is unpacked. Old TV=28", new telly 40". Though physically it is only 20cm wider and 8cm
taller... it's still gonna look huuuge!
You may be suprised though - I thought that - we got rid of a 32" widescreen for a 40" - and it doesn't actually look much bigger. As the cabinet of the new tv is so much smaller - the other one had the speakers at the side - there isn't actually that much difference. I really didn't want a bigger tv as I didn't want it to dominate the room - but it actually seems to dominate less than the old one.
