I have lost my Friday job
They have sold their house and instead of moving into town they are going up north! I will be finishing there in May.
SO upset about it and now am back to square one, i do still have my other one but thats not as much money and isnt likely to be long term as the lady is 92 and not healthy!!
ANYWAY! I ordered DS a birthday pressies as it was on offer, it arrived badly damaged and everything inside the box (in clear plastic holding things in place) was loose and one bit missing!
I decided to not send it back purely as it was low stock online and i feared if i returned it i wouldnt get another. SO instead i emailed complaining and for my moan i got £6 knocked off!!
SO in total a £19.99 toy has cost me £5.99:j
Disneyland Paris won`t be happening next year now, there is no way i can out anything away out of my single job would take me years
I feel really bad.
We were out on Saturday and we walked by a travel agents and there was Mickey mouse outside. DD lit up the town with her smile, she was SO happy and excited!! It really is a kids dream i just wish i could fulfill it!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Its been a long time since i was `in` my diary:rotfl:
Not much has happened in the way of good news or any major changes unfortunately.
However last week was the `6 years til DH`s loan is paid up` HOW depressing
I am still pretty much debtfree - other then a few catalogue bills all under £100 and are almost paid off. I have 3 and am going to keep 1 and close the other 2!!
I use them for clothing as we just dont have spare cash for clothing and i was desperate for footwear and tops so treated my self to 2 tops, 2 trousers and a pair of sandals.
I still have my little cleaning job which is nice but i wasn't lucky enough to find another to replace the one i lost!
BUT i have started saving and so far i have £310 saved in Lloyds :j
And have just opened a 2 year fixed rate with AA savings £10.00 so far
I have been doing swagbucks and am currently managing to get £10 a week on that - paypal cash for my savings :money:
I have both children at school come September (DS dont start fulltime til the end of October) so will be looking at jobs come November.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I have sent off a cheque for £20 to my AA saving account today (its a postal only account). I will be topping it up as i go and will be doing this until the account reaches its 2 years. £30 in total so far and the account has been open for all of 6 days :j
One of the catalogues is all paid up and i have now closed the account - i only ordered out of it as there was a toy on offer there and i couldn't find it cheap elsewhere:rotfl:
Today i went through every piece of financial paperwork i have - years piled up!!
I have sorted through it all and each account now has its own envelope (i need to get files for them).
The children CTF`s were the main issue. I wanted to make sure i have every statement from the day the accounts opened JUST incase! I have had a load of issues with the accounts which have been sorted out now.
I have an old account with Barclays that will need sorting out - its in my old address and in my maiden name 20+ years ago!! Only got a few £`s and pence in there but still every penny counts.Getting close to my 3rd £10 paypal now form swagbucks - quick and easy money earner for sure.

Today has been a good day - i managed to get myself another little cleaning job:jShe only wants me one day a fortnight but it is better then nothing.
She called me today and said i had been recommended by my other little cleaning job. Its actually fab as she lives by my mum so i can drop the children off to mum while i do her flat
Hopefully i`ll get a few more little jobs off of these ladies, the word soon gets round!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I have a third little job!! Another fortnightly one but its pennies so i dont mind
I keep wondering what will happen in the future, i`m 31 soon DH is 35 and we wont be completely debtfree until 2018
There is no way of paying off extra payments on top of the loan repayments unless we can pay in full - around 7k not possible!!
By the time it is paid off, he will have a credit rating that will need working on then by the time thats done we will be too `old` to get a mortgage
I feel so heartbroken about it, i want out dream home, something to leave the children once we pass, somewhere we can call home and grow old in.
I have so many regrets about how we have dealt financially from being young. We should of saved and NOT fallen to where we are now.
I`m SO angry at DH about the loan he got and i know its done and i have to accept it BUT i can`t help feel VERY bitter about it all.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

What a week or two i`ve had.
Firstly the car decided to breakdown on the M25 causing a cost of £300 to get home with the carThe engine had blown SO we scrapped the car and got £850 for it :j
£300 paid the breakdown the rest paid the bills and small catologue dents i had left
THEN a miracle happened, there was no way of us getting another car we just couldnt afford it. BUT we had the issue of DH not being able to get to work and of course my little jobs mean i couldnt get to and from AND do the school run (DH picks up from school via car).
SO DH`s parents bought us a car
We are so grateful!!
THEN today DH called the bank who holds his management loan and they confirmed if he continues to pay the extra he has been doing each month he will be paid off by 2015 NOT 2018!!

By the time i get home its time to go back LOL!
Savings are creeping up - its a lovely feeling and i don`t feel tempted to dip in at all, even when i feel skint i forget its there which is a good thing.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I really need a holiday, i feel so stressed and fed up of seeing the same ol thing.
We`ve never had a holiday, went to butlins twice but only for 3 days and i was knackered when i got home LOL!
I never went on holiday as a child either so have pretty much not done anything
Am really feeling the need to enjoy a nice hot holiday lazing around doing nothing!! Its not going to happen thoughDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j
