Ahhh the spring catalogues are coming through the door, and my recycling bin is being filled with UNOPENED catalogues :T

My ears hear a thud, my eyes see the stupid things and i say `more junk` and throw it away without even looking :T
Before i would say No i`m not ordering and then i`d open that wrapping and look through them and then temptation would take over completely!! BUT not anymore. I refuse to do it!!

Anyway i paid off a minimum payment on one yesterday, and another catalogue bill arrived. My plan is to pay a bit more then the minimum as i am getting service charged £6.95 each month so the bill isnt going down as much as i`d like it to be.
If i pay £10 i`m only paying £4 off
This bill i owe £181 at the moment so not HUGE but eough to make me sleep a little less of a night!

I paid £40 off of the £181 bill - pleased with that tbh, its far better then paying off just £10 and £40 is the most i can pay without being totally skint afterwards!! :money:

I have had catologue 2 calling dropping in the `we are offering you 20% your next order` NO!!
I have emailed asking to close my account, had a reply asking why and offering me 10% off my next order. and have now AR LAST received confirmation it is now closed!

Catalogue 1 will be paid off in a couple of weeks :T

SO as it stands i now owe in total (approx ) £537 :o

The children have broken up from school - 2 weeks!!
I plan on spending £0 over them 2 weeks as i literally have £0!!

I managed the 6 week holiday on £0 so this should be easy right? LOL!

We are going to be doing lots of library, park, fields and nature reserve outings and a few days visiting family who live locally.
If its nice we may even throw in picnics in the forest.
I don`t drive so its all on foot and free.

Today was day 1 of the easter holidays and a wet miserable one at that!
SO i got both my 2 to do some reading and writing then lunch!
We then had hot chocolate, dvds and snuggles on the sofa this afternoon!

Tomorrow i have a friend coming round for coffee (i refuse to visit coffee shops, so mu kitchen is now a weekly coffee shop!).

NOW today while i was being disney brain washed i got to thinking what i will do when i get deftfree AGAIN!
WELL i am going to SAVE and SAVE and this time i am locking the savings away, that way i can`t dip into them!!
I have said this many a time and never stuck to it.

SO thats my plan and i am going to stick to it and see how i do!

Had a day in Hadleigh today visiting my great grandparents grave and cleaning it up.
Its actually looking as good as new, although it is sinking and will cost a fortune to get fixed as the foundation it is on has dropped :(

The kiddies like going there - my son always asks `when can we go to the dead people place` :rotfl:
Once we finished there we went to where my great aunt is buried, and we had a `little picnic` outside on a nearby bench over looking the st james the less church which is stunning.

Was a beautiful day and we`ve all come home full of fresh air.

DH has got himself another gardening job so that's 3 he does now :T

This morning I had one of my cleaning jobs, then me and the kiddies went to the nearby park for an hour or two.
Its been another lovely day, although I feel cold hope I`m not getting ill.

Catologue bills have started coming in.
I`ve paid one min payment off of one, the other one is the LARGE one and I`ll have to pay the min payments for that next week as it is £25 and I don`t have that right now!!
Seeing the amounts going down is good though, its making me excited knowing its getting closer to me seeing NO catalogue bills coming in each month!

I have today seen a third bill come in but its smaller and looked like it will be paid off in 6 months IF I do the min payments.
If I can pay a bit extra on top it should be paid before the 6 months for sure.
I am going to try my best to pay off extra on ALL the bills, even if it is only £5 it is something.
One good thing I am not getting late payment fees OR red bills :)

This morning we walked into town and went to the library and the park nearby. Had a good 3hrs out in the fresh air, then home for lunch.
The children are currently doing crafts in the garden - I fear my fridge door will be full by tea time ;)

Cashed in £10 paypal from swagbucks :j
That will pay a catalogue payment once its come through!

Today DH took DD with him on a gardening job, so me and DS went out and cleared the weeds from our garden and done a general tidy up.
The plastic covers on my 2 greenhouses tore in the bad winds we had over winter so they will need to be replaced.
I`m not going to be using them this year though, so for now they are housing my pots and looking pretty sorry for themselves:rotfl:

I have both childrens birthdays at the beginning of May.
I have already bought bits from poundland - books, dvds, sweets and `character` toiletries :money:
Its amazing what they sell in there for £1!

Well today is a very boring day.
I have cleaned the house and tidied the kids rooms.

They went to the park with DH while I did that which was nice and so much easier!

They are currently playing nicely, DH is watching football and I`m on here scrolling through amazed how well people are doing, have done and are doing!!

One thing I always admire are those who have saved hard, worked hard and lived by their means and now have a nice sum saved up.
Its how I want my children to be, I`m going to try my hardest to make them understand just how important it is to do this.

Its made me realise I`m not too old to make a start (once I`m debtfree), if I save £20-£50 a month its better then not having done so!

NY 2016 will be OUR year of making changes. DH will be debtfree we will own nothing but normal household bills, rent, council tax and the running of the car.
We will be in a nice place financially for the first time in our lives together!!

Well this morning I got the childrens CTF statements through and it made me smile no end.
Already they have over 1k in their accounts, now I feel happy knowing they will have some pennies to `hopefully` continue to save!!
I`m really hoping they don`t spend it and use it as savings!

My in laws opened a savings account for them at birth aswell and as far as I`m aware they out some in each month, it will be a perfect start for them.
