The bills for cat 2 and 3 arrived today
I have managed to pay 1 min payment of one - the payment was due sooner then the others and was the HIGHEST one (didnt want to incur a late payment on it!!)
Cat 1 and 2 are small in total amounts under £30 each - min payment £6 each!
Cat 3 total amount £210will be under £200 once payment reaches the account in 3 days!
STILL fuming at myself!!
I now have no money currently, so need to put some plans into action as i need to pay the rest of the min payments of the others AND awaiting the other cat billsDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Just checked topcashback and i have £5 that can be put into my bank!
I dont shop online as i always use cash in highstreet stores (have been using it while ordering out of the dreaded catologues though).
SO i shall put that £5 into my bank thats cat 1`s min payment :j
I have a large pot of 1p`s and 2`p which i may count up and see what use they can do too.
DH informs me he wont beable to help with any of the catologues this month (he has said he will help with some of the higher ones) as he has his car tax end of this month.
NOT that i want him to pay my debt, i`m suprised his still speaking to me :rotfl:
BUT i`m going to do it, i can and i will :ADebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

cat 3 and cat 4 came today and i have just paid the min payment on both.
cat 4 amount owing £71.51 -just paid £10 off
cat 5 amount owing £113.94 - just paid £10 off (incurred late payment charges on this oneAwful seeing it over £100!!)
Feel better knowing they are going down and NOT up!!
NOW i await one more which DH is paying as it is mostly things he ordered from AND was his choice to do so!
SO as it stands
cat 1 £30.44 paid £5 off
cat 2 £30.00 (i think! it was under 30) paid £6
Cat 3 £210 - paid £25 off
cat 3 £71.51 -paid £10 off
cat 4 £113.94 - paid £10 off
Going to try and pay more then minimun payment next month, even if it is an extra £5-10 on each one!!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Not much to update really.
I am still feeling quite stressed about my catologue bills, had a rather annoying letter from 2 of them asking for mininum payments.
When i called to say i had paid online i was told they had been marked down as top up payments as i paid before the bill was sent out!!!
SO i have paid the minimum payments on both AGAIN!
NOT a bad thing, BUT its a bit extra i could of paid on the higher ones!!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I have just cashed in my swagbucks for £25 paypal that is going to be paying 2 OR 3 min payments this month :j
I have just paid £10 off cat 1 - min was £5 but i had a spare £10 so now i`m owing £15.44 on that one
It is around now the catologue bills start coming through the post and again i`m reminded how stupid i really am!
Once i have paid the minimum payments and the bill are not on top of my microwave i forget about them :rotfl:DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Hi
I've read your diary for a long while and have found it really inspiring because of your optimism and the happy family life you have despite the money situation (well, we all have a money situation, I suppose, that's why we're here!!)
Hope you don't mind me commenting - I recently returned to MSE after a few months not focussing on debt busting as much as I should and your diary was one I was glad to catch up on.:):) And you're really not far from being debt free, with you chipping away at the catalogues and your husband's debts ending next year. I started with £52,000 of debt and now owe £8,000 so I have an end in sight even if I'm not quite sure when that date will actually be!0 -
WOW Amazing!! You`ve done SO well.
I hope your very proud of how well you`ve done, your an inspiration.
That date will be sooner rather then later i`m sure!
Its such a hard struggle. Your right EVERYONE has money situation, i often think i am the only one.
I`ve been quite busy decluttering the house, early spring cleaning.
Its all done, and we finally finished the decorating. We had the top landing to do and DH did that last week as he had a week off work (annual leave) SO after 4 yrs of living here its finally done
update:
TWO catalogues paid off - GONE :j
I am going to update tonight when i get more time as to whats left owing etc.
More news is DH has got himself a little job of a weekend. Its only delivering take outs but its better then nothing and its an extra £20+

I cashed in £20 from swagbucks and put it towards one of the catologues, nice knowing thats paid and it didn't come out of our income.
The catolgues won`t be paid off by July sadly, it will not be possible BUT by November they should be for definite!!
DH`s weekend job has now offered him 2 days in the week aswell so his doing fri/sat/mon/weds nights only 2-4hrs but its helping out.
I have both childrens birthdays in May, luckily no parties to plan so just cake and pressies.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j
