    Part of the Furniture
We went the other year to DLP on coach, dont know if you would consider that? It was only £120 odd each for 2 nights, 1 day pass into DLP and then we had a tour around paris and a boat trip down the Seine. The hotel was about 20 mins from DLP

I think they were doing longer stays, aswell as stays in DLP hotels

we will prob go again this way next year

Yes coach is something we would consider - we have never been abroad so quite wary about flying!
    Who did you book with?
    Thank you!!

Your doing so well, won`t be long now and you`ll be posting they are gone:j

I`m planning next year to do day trips around the UK seasides.
We don`t do days out regular and i want us to start exploring :D petrol is the main issue so will be the only expense, we can take food/drink with us!

I would like to visit france - maybe calais at first for the day. My aim is to squeeze this in next year!
Aswell as a Butlins holiday (i`ve promised DD we will be going for being so brave!) Jan is the 50% off so will be booking then hopefully.

I`m noticing DD is more aware about going to different places, her list is endless and growing!!
She must hear things from school:rotfl:

DD had her GP appointment for her check up following all this tonsil op caos, and she has some swelling there and now has ANOTHER week of being indoors isolated!
Since finishing school she has not done a thing!!
SO upset with it all and feel so sorry for her. Poor DD will be the only child without `holiday show and tell` and will be the only child that spent the whole 6 weeks inside 4 walls!

  • DH recovered with no problems and is back to work tomorrow.
Today we got the date through for DS and his going in on the 27th os Sept!!

HUGE struggle at the moment moneywise and unfortunately my £230 of savings have gone! DH`s wages were very poor last month leaving us hugely short and we fell majorly behind causing things to go missed :(
We WILL get over it all, just need to get the next 2 months over and done with to get us straight!!

January i will be saving like mad and will EVENTUALLY have a few k for a fab holiday!!

Hello Pinky Happy new year!! Hope you`ve been well. credit card free!!:j

Not been on for a long time but all is ok. Glad to see 2011 is over!!
Our christmas was good which we really thought wouldnt happen, i have got myself a `little` cleaning job which helped with the presents.
We only bought for the two children and they were very grateful to see the living room full :)

DH set up a payment thing with the bank where he has 2 accounts but one is closed from use and is to pay loan off using a spill of wages - we now dont see that money loss and dont have to worry that we`ve spent the loan repayment!! We were being naughty and using it then owing 2 he following month oops :) Its come down to 8k which has made me see its slowly going :D
Its not effected his credit rating the bank said when we went in the other month.

I have plans to get the decorating started, first the lounge. The wallpaper samples are on their way.
I finally got my wardrobe - A beautiful mahogany Armoire painted in antique white YAY!!
I found a lady who offered to reserve one for me, i paid a £100 deposit then sent £20-50 as and when until it was paid in full and then the lady delivered it - SO grateful to her!

We wont be having a holiday this year nor a break away. Our plan is to save for a holiday in 2013 Disneyland Paris. We`ve not told the children JUST incase!
