I've just roughly worked out how much Lloyds have had off me since 01/07/2002(online statements only go back that far) £2209!!
I'm livid, and i've still got 2000 and 2001 to take on board + 8% in interest now i've asked for charge info!!!
Can't wait to see what Halifax and Barclaycard have charged me!!!!
I also noticed that Lloyds have been increasing their charges over the past 2-3 years up too the present!!0 -

Remember that you wont get the interest unless it goes to the moneyclaim stage. If it does, it is the best savings account you could have!Littlewoods catalogue - won back charges of £300 by default.

I was under the impression that you can claim interest from the point you ask to see the charges in full? Does not really matter, i just want my money back. I'm not really bothered about £100 in interest when they owe me a few thousand0

You only add the 8% interest when you make the claim. You can claim interest that they have taken off you for being overdrawn with the charged amounts (if you can work it out) at this point. On the LBA you state that IF they do not comply fully then you will start court proceedings for the charges, plus interest at 8%. The interest is charged from the day they took the money, so up to 6 years. Interest over six years from the amount of money you are looking at would be several hundred pounds. As a slightly pointless but hopefully illustrative example, if you were charged £30 every month since October 2000, you would have paid £2190 in charges and the interest on that would be £531.72. Its a nice bonus should it get that far!Littlewoods catalogue - won back charges of £300 by default.
