If you sign up to http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/ this website is sponsored by Martin and then look in the board called Guidance Notes, down at the bottom is a thread called Scottish Procedures and you should find some help there as to how to procede0 -
Ive just received my bank statements for my old barclays account from 1998 to 2004 for 3 seperate accounts. I'm claiming back my unauthorized borrowing fee charges etc, thing is im not sure what a charge looks like on my account and how much for it will be. Could be between £20 - £35.
So can someone who has had a Barclays account for quite a few years remember and tell me how much the charge was for direct debits not being honoured when no money is in the account and if its been the same since 1998 or has there been an increase in price.
Also what does it come under on the statment, ive seen a few things called referral fees at £20.
Any help please.0 -

I received a letter saying they will be in touch within 14 days, now pardon me but its my money so i call the shots yes, do i wait or go ahead with stage 2 etc.0

If you asked for a reply within 14 days of the date of your letter then stick to your timetable not theirs. Go ahead with your second letter if you have not had a full reply within the 14 days as requested.0
