Hi everyone in here. Sorry to bother, everyone seems stressed out with e2save in here - i feel the same after trying to understand their terms.
Could do with some help on my pricematch deal:
Connection Date: 23/07/07
Bill Date: 04 August 2007
Bill Number: 1
Part Month: 23/07 – 03/08
04/08/07 - -3/09/07
Bill Date: 04 September 2007
Bill Number: 2
04/09/07 - -3/10/07
Bill Date: 03 October 2007
Bill Number: 3
04/10/07 - -3/11/07
Bill Date: 03 November 2007
Bill Number: 4
04/11/07 - -3/12/07
Could some kind person please advise me which bill i need to send. Im assuming the fourth bill, as I counted 120 days from my connection date (23-07-07) and that brings me to 20-11-07 which is in between bill 4.
Am i correct or do i need to go away and think harder. Thanks for the help.0 -
Monthly line rental periods are irrelevant. Which bill depends on which t&c you are following. Read post 5:-
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=558661
The way they SAY they are working you have 4 days only to get your November bill to them - but if they revert to the legal t&c (unlikely) they will decline and tell you you've lost the lot. Use the December bill and it must get there by 21st or 23rd December (depending on which clause in the inconsistent terms they adopt on this occasion!). The rest will be similar unless they move the goal-posts again. Otherwise stick with the legal version and sue for the lot if they don't pay.0 -

Note: They are still up to usual tricks. Summary in 1 line is: New contracts state Cashback after 4 months of connected, e2save.com myaccount gives an exact period eg 25th march-24th april when its really one month sooner eg 25th feb-24th march. con artists undoubtedly.
Hi e2savescam,
Nice and appropriate name.
Can you please give out the full court case details so that others can follow your example?
You don't have to give out your personal details but if you can, can you provide answers to these questions?
What was your actual problem?
Did you send them a LBA?
What address did you issue your claim?
Where and when was the case heard?
I am sure many of us will be grateful for the above information and your tips.
Thanking you in advance.0 -
Hiya
Line rental taken out – 28th May 07.
They requested I send in November bill.
6th bill received: 3rd November.
Sent via recorded delivery: 6th November
RM website states received by e2save: 12th november.
The signature doesn’t have a workers name – just says “bulk” for both the claims I’ve sent off for. It shows received with 20 others. Will this be a problem?
Now that I know they have received it.. how long to wait and hear back from them and when to give chase for my cheque/cashback?
thanks0 -
"Bulk" won't be a problem.
Your other question is harder to answer, but you should chase your cheque if it doesn't come within the time period stated in your contract conditions.0 -
kobita 1985:- Sounds to me like you've sent it in too soon. I assume you DID claim in monh 4 successfully? Either way I think you're in for trouble. Keep a close eye on this one; provided you claimed successfully in month 4 you will almost certainly need to claim now using the December bill as soon as it arrives - even IF they reject this claim and try to say you cannot claim the remaining cashbacks.0

Ok, so im going to send in the november bill on 23/11 special next day delivery so that they receive it on 24/11, which means that I have complied with sending in after 4 months/120 days and I am within 28 days of the bill date.
Can someone please confirm the address is still:
Cashback Claims
PO Box 337
Crewe
CW2 8WE
And I just have to cut out the "claim one" section of e2save special terms voucher which I downloaded and printed a while ago.
I will also send them a covering letter stating somthing along the lines of:
Dear sir/madam,
Please find enclosed my cashback claim number one voucher and correct bill. The bill enclosed complies with your terms, specifically that the bill is after 4 months of connection/120 days of connection and the bill has been received by yourselves within 28 days of the bill date.0 -

Hi all,
I had one of the normal cashback (NOT Price match)with e2save, the 1st (June/07) and 2nd (Aug/07) cashback had no problem at all, I sent my third one in this month and rejected by them said that I was too early to claim, have they changed T&C on the old cashback?
Purchased & Received Date: 19/01/2007
First Bill Date: 02/Feb/2007
according to the 'Chqback calendar' with my Wecome Pack, I should claim in June, Aug, Oct, Dec.
Do you think I should claim again or should I wait till next bill 02/Nov.
Many thanks
I resent my claim on 25th/10 and heard nothing, RM signed for,in the mean time I sent email to different office CSduston and OSPS complaining and rang them on 9th/11, CS confirmed cashback has been accepted and also confirmed by OSPS via email,. Received chq today, :j
thanks to all people gave me info & suggestion.
final chqback : December0 -
Hello all,
I thought i'd post my recent experience with e2save and the virgin contracts fiasco.
I took out a 12 month £20/month virgin contract via thephonespot (aka e2save) for my wife in March. It was a 12 month free line rental deal and main points of the cashback terms were:- Claims at month 6, 8, 10 and 12.
- Month of purchase was considered month 1 according the the cashback table.
- Also the cashback terms stated a 45 day window (which was reduced to a 30 day window April onwards).
Our second claim in month 7 (October) was sent, received and received a letter stating too early (last week Thursday). I wrote a LBA detailing why I thought they were wrong in their decision and also included a copy of the original terms. I faxed this to the cpw legal dept and to osps as well as emails, with the intention of following up with a posted version.
Received a call today from cpw stating they were unsure of the reason for rejection but as a goodwill gesture will raise a cheque for the total remaining amount (£180), she left her name and number in case of any further problems. Thank you cpw, this will save me going through this process twice more! Assuming we get the cheque.
If it helps anyone else who took out a 12 month contract in March, and needs an electronic copy of the terms and conditions download here otherwise please do PM me.
HTH
Just to follow up, i've now received a cheque for the outstanding 3 cashbacks (£180) as promised. Thanks all and CPW (for finally sorting it out). Pleased all cashback on this line is now in our hands. Very dissappointed with the hassle but I was prepared from the start.ummm...0
