To save time I suggest anyone contacting them gives the Rec Deliver Number in the first email!

They always seem to find it then!

    Strange that isnt it!

    :rotfl:

I very much suspect that when you given them the Rec Del number they check the RM Web Site themselves!

  • They recently attempted to screw me over so I thought I'd add my two penn'orth here...

I sent in my first claim at 6 months as instructed; and since I'd ported in my existing number I also included (as instructed) the 1st month's bill which showed the original number on the contract, to prove the contract was the same one. Fair enough.

However, they wrote back to me rejecting my claim stating that I'd sent them an out-of-date bill, and including a photocopy which they'd taken of my month 1 bill. In making the photocopy, I don't see how for one moment they could possibly have overlooked the fact that there was a second bill included in the envelope. All the enclosure were described in the covering letter, too.

I took pleasure in writing back pointing out the error of their ways, and that if they required further proof I would be pleased to email them a hi-res photo which I'd taken of the envelope and its contents just before mailing, clearly showing both correctly-dated bills. I added that I would have no qualms about taking the matter to the Small Claims Court if they refused to honour the claim, as (I added) I had successfully done in the past with another cash-back company.

I got my cheque within the week.

Just thought this was worth mentioning, as despite having used Special Delivery for this, I suspect that without the photo (which is only a recent addition to my procedure!) I might have had trouble proving the point.
  • When you are dealing with cheats and complete liars following all the groundrules is essential. They will fight tooth and nail to stop you getting your money unless they are convinced that you can prove in a court of law that they have ignored the legal t&c and denied a perfectly valid claim. Well done!

It's true. I did this with Just 3G Communications and they called my bluff right up until they received a CCJ notice!

It's actually a very easy thing to do (provided you've tried everything in the first instance without resorting to drastic action)
