Hi, thanks for a great thread. I have not had my auto cashback from onestop phone shop and am ready to proceed with LBA and MCOL. Does anyone have the correct addresses to use for one stop phone shop as opposed to e2save?
    Thanks

They both have the same office, share the letterhead - and seem to share the same staff:
    3R House
    Belton Road West Extension,
    Belton Road Trading Estate,
    Loughborough

It's because they are, in fact, the same company - they have been for a whole year!

    I intend raising an LBA/MCOL with e2Save.
This was a contract I set up but I did it in my wifes name as O2 wouldn't let me
start two contracts at the same time.

Should I raise the LBA/MCOL in my wifes name or is it possible for me to do it
in my own name and say I'm her representative?

Thanks for all your help so far folks.

Her name. I wouldn't advertise the fact it was taken out by her on your behalf either.

Although it will be in your wife's name, there's nothing to stop you helping her fill out the forms - as long as she's the one that signs the declarations etc.

And should it ever get to court, she can appoint you to speak on her behalf.

Their deals are nowhere near as good as they were a few months ago - I wonder if they're starting to feel the pinch of a higher proportion of successful claims.

They come and go. One good thing is that their mistakes are not always in their favour and just once in a while it's possible to obtain a little "bonus". Lol! However, my advice is still steer clear unless you really know what you're doing NOW, watch them like a hawk throughout AND are prepared to sue if they try it on. Since most don't fall into even one of those categories (that alone all three) STAY AWAY unless you're the exception to the rule.

    Proof of their idiocy.

I started my MCOL, as previously posted. They finally agreed to pay the full amount owed. Their cheque has cleared in the bank.

At the same time they were paying their solicitors to send out a defense; it arrived today in the post. I'd love to know what it cost them.

Thanks once again to the people who helped me get my claim done, especially MobileJunkie and Quentin.
Karma is a wonderful thing. ;)
  • I just received three emails from emma holloway in relatino to the 3 mcols i have started last week. All of them offered the without prejudice offer of the court fee seeing as they have sent cheques for the autocashback today but i'd have to claim the rest at the relevent times.

She'd like a an acceptance response via return email.

I did love the way the email said the cheques were raised in time but due to an error they were not sent out.

How polite should i be when i respond? I know its not Emma's fault but do they honestly expect people to accept this oh so generous offer?
