I purchased my phone back in July 2007.
I sent my 3rd cashback claim was due on 240 days = 27th Feb. I posted the bill received on 26th Feb (posted on 27th march).
When i phoned they said I should have sent march bill to them. Is this correct I didnt have any problems with first 2 cashbacks e.g. from which the bills where dated before the 120 day but sent after 120days.0 -
According to you the bill was over a month old before you even sent it. Dream on for any more cashbacks on that contract. On the extremely shallow information you have provided they are also right in what they say - though it isn't that simple. You clearly have no idea what you're doing I'm afraid - and it's too late to do anything about it now unless the information you have given is incorrect.0

About time you joined our CPW MCOL club;) Pray tell, what is the reason? What stage are you at - LBA/MCOL?0 -
LBA. One reason is common the other unique - which is why I'm not broadcasting it! Anyhow, I'm not messing around with them. One of my people was forced to sue to get one of their claims paid recently so now it's my turn, it seems. This company clearly has a reverse learning process - either that or it's into corporate masochism. I came within a day of commencing a claim last year over something entirely stupid and this time I suspect the gun will fire!0

does the required bill still need to be sent within 30 days or has that been extended to 60 days, why doesnt it state this anywhere in the terms and conditions0
-
The T's&C's for me were 30 days.
I see that the OFT feel that less than 60 days is an unfair T&C but that is just their opinion, you would have to convince a judge of that if you had to take it to court.
I believe on some of their new deals they offer 60 days.
Stick to the T's&C's inplace when you signed up, that way you should be OK.0 -
So would people say that e2save are just not worth the risk any more? Are there any cashback sites that are reputable?
I don't understand these companies, if they have to resort to scamming people why bother? In the case of Carphone Warehouse it surely isn't worth the damage to their image.0 -
 Hi All, just an update on my dealings with e2save. Following a brief call from them asking if full settlement was ok on my cashback, I received a cheque including my MCOL fee of £25 within 6 days of the call, and cleared a couple of days later. So as MJ keeps telling us, stick to your guns, know your obligations inside out and take them to the courts if they breach theirs.

Well done:beer:0 -
We should be looking at this outfit from a different perspective nowadays. I don't think I've come across anyone legitimately suing and not getting paid before they actually go to court. Maybe they aren't as thoroughly stupid as they certainly appear. Nah; must just be their legal department which still has a milligram of sense - the rest of the company has none.0
