If you want to get medical about it:-

    Bristol Stool Scale

The Bristol Stool Scale or Bristol Stool Chart is a medical aid designed to classify the form of human faeces into seven categories. Sometimes referred to in the UK as the "Meyers Scale," it was developed by Heaton at the University of Bristol and was first published in the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology in 1997.[1] The form of the stool depends on the time it spends in the colon.

The seven types of stool are:

Type 1: Separate hard lumps, like nuts (hard to pass)
    Type 2: Sausage-shaped, but lumpy
Type 3: Like a sausage but with cracks on its surface
Type 4: Like a sausage or snake, smooth and soft
Type 5: Soft blobs with clear cut edges (passed easily)
Type 6: Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mushy stool
Type 7: Watery, no solid pieces. Entirely liquid
Types 1 and 2 indicate constipation, with 3 and 4 being the "ideal stools" especially the latter, as they are the easiest to pass, and 5–7 being further tending towards diarrhoea or urgency.

  • All I can say is...Has anyone ever used a festival loo?...If you haven't believe me being 'too scared to poo' is the least of your worries..lmao...:rotfl:

I think you get less concerned with such 'bodily function' worries as you age...Or rather your body demands that you listen to it or face the consequences...

Oh this is such an insight to peeps and their little quirks...lol...:rotfl:

Doesn't bother me going to the loo at work for either 1 or 2 - agree with others "when you gotta go, you gotta go!" The thing I hated about the loos where I was temping recently was that the hot water was scalding hot and the soap very drying so I ended up with chapped little handies that I had to keep smothering in hand cream.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Crikey, the only thing that I can think of that this has to do with MSE is, well, it's false economy to crap at home...Hell, let someone else pay for the loo roll. After all, it is getting rather pricey these days!
  • My sister was at college the other day when two girls came in, one made the other hold the toilet door shut for her while she proceded to strain a poo out loudly whilst still holding a conversation with her mate...so some women just don't care.
