I know exactly what you mean! At festivals you find yourself wishing more people would hold it in, or atleast have manners when using toilets that are going to be shared. They are very scary experiences  and I find most females at V Festival prefer to pee anywhere - just like the men - often shrouded by friends or their boyfriends jacket.
I believe when you have to go you have to go, but if you try to remain polite about it all - check the loo once you have finished to ensure everything has flushed, and a spray of air freshener...what more can you do really?0 -
Crikey, the only thing that I can think of that this has to do with MSE is, well, it's false economy to crap at home...Hell, let someone else pay for the loo roll. After all, it is getting rather pricey these days!
Did you know that a company is bringing out CASHMERE bog roll ...http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20100210/tuk-luxury-loo-roll-contains-cashmere-6323e80.html0 -

Saw that on GMTV today, Andrew Castle remarked that at £2.29 for 4 rolls it was twice the price of normal loo roll. I buy Andrex and get 8 rolls at the moment for £3. The Andrex loo roll with shea butter in it costs a fortune too, but a lot nicer on your butt cheeks than TVal stuff. I remember when I was in Primary School a good few years ago now, the toilet paper was like greaseproof paper, shiny stuff, it is still sold today. Can't remember the brand name of it. Square sheets of shiny paper, same colour as greaseproof paper. Tesco were selling it until recently, noticed it when I was picking up some Andrex.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. That awful toilet paper was San-izal. It smelt of disinfectant.
We had an elderly neighbour when we first move to this house 28 years ago, who insisted on using it (his wife used Andrex). Anyway I was having some work done on my bathroom and asked if I could use theirs. "Of course you can, and feel free to use the 'good Izal paper' if you like."
I didn't take up his kind offer!0 -
I always do my poos at work! That way I'm getting paid to poo! Brilliant!0

I don't like it but after experiencing the Long Drops and their famous Tang at Glastonbury, I no longer really have problems using publiv toilets. I always carry wipes (for my bum) and hand sanitiser with me though. I admit, I do choose nice places eg John Lewis, if I'm caught short in town.0

Well!!! Up till now, there’s never been an opportunity for me to pass this titbit on, other than in a ‘care’ situation, but here goes:
To dispose of the large logs left by certain (usually elderly) toilet users:- Open the window.
- Pour approximately a pint of nearly boiling water into the pan water (NOT against the porcelain – straight into the water).
- Add 2 egg-cupsful of dishwasher powder (or one tablet) to the water.
- Leave for half an hour or so, then flush.
- Repeat if really really high fibre…
For a pan blockage, ‘throw’ half a bucket of water from waist height directly into the pan. It’s the impetus of the water that counts!0 -
I dont get the women who wait till they get home, that would kill me.
