Tell me which one to start with ?
I haven't sold a single one though....
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the only oneI have read, but it gets :T:T:T:T from me. I have the other two to read, and a friend has read them and says they are unputdownableYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Have to agree with charlies_mum about Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, totally brilliant book, can't comment on the other two as haven't read them.0

I've not been on here for ages, mainly because I managed to not buy any new books. OK, I confess, only because there haven't been many opportunities to get to boot sales, and the two I did go to were book deserts.
Then I got a £10 Amazon voucher (from using my 6 months' interest free Amazon card, but that's another MSE story) and used it to get Meltdown by Ben Elton, and The Burning Wire (hardback) by Jeffery Deaver for £2.93. I promise to read them both before buying any more.0 -

I'm reading this as well at the moment, its a lovely fluffy read that requires no thinking.Next on my list is Jodi Picoult 'Songs of the Humpback Whale' which my OH bought for £1 in a charity shop and hoped it was one of her ones that I hadn't read (which it wasn't I'm looking forward to reading it)

Wolf Hall = fantastic read, really descriptive and well-written, shows the Tudor times not only from the side of the rich, but also those pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. Very satisfying and now sat on my shelf.
Started re-reading Thinner (Stephen King as Richard Bachman is the author) - about halfway through, and started Blind Faith - Ben Elton - another re-read. Just trying to gear up to carry on reading Henry VI, it's a very heavy play and it's boring me more than a little bit.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Oh dear, I have a bit of a confession to make.....I've bought a Quick Read book off Amazon, though it was with a voucher so I didn't actually spend any money. Although I have spent £2.59 on a book from ebay so I'm dissapointed with myself!! Better get reading it as soon as it arrives then I won't feel too badChallenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j

I'm feeling quite :A at the minute:
Finished Richard Branson's autobiography yesterday as I only had 20-something paged to go and had been meaning to do it for ages. It was interesting: he's packed a lot into his life.
I then read an Ian Rankin novella entitled 'Death is Not the End', which was only 70-something pages long. That was also very, very good.
I then started Ricky Tomlinson's autobiography, 'Ricky', which was unbelieveably good. Never mind all the showbiz bits, but his description of his two year stint in prison for protesting about pay and conditions in the buiding industry was quite literally amazing. I was so good I only went to sleep at 3 a.m. and probably would have finished it in one sitting if I hadn't had work at midday today. I just finished it, and it's flabergasting. He's had one hell of a life, and heralds my first, and probably only six star clap rating. :T :T :T :T :T :T
(That means that I have now read 13 of 24 books I wanted to read this year. I have been pretty lax this past few months, but here's hoping that I manage to keep going and read the other 11.)Please call me 'Pickle'
