Well, I have done a big book cull today; 2 are going to charity, 2 have been binned due to mould (I have a damp room) and 43 have been listed for sale on my Greenmetropolis.com account. My TBR pile is FINALLY manageable!!0

Just got back off short break. Polished off a Dean Koontz while there (anout the 4th time I've read it so doesn't count!;)) and am now tossing up what to read next.
I've got:
The luminous life of Lilly Aphrodite (borrowed from mum)
Beautiful Lies (library)
The household guide to dying (library)
Or a plethora of Reginald Hill Dalziel and Pascoe books given to me by SIL (I bought them for her for christmas and she passed them on to me when finished so ultra moneysaving!!!:rotfl:)
Think I may go for Lilly Aphrodite,

Thank you for all the advice on buying books about learning to sew! (I am trying to find out what classes are available as that would be the easiest way! And will get Sew magazine while it's on offer. Have got it before, it's great)
Flickering Ember, well done, I'm very impressed!
Pickle, I was looking at Thrifty Ways on Amazon. Getting frustrated that I have lots of Bookmooch points and enough books on Bookhopper that I should be able to swap things but none of my wish-list books are available.
I think I will definitely brave my library tomorrow. If I do take books out, I will need you all to remind me to take them back in time.

.
I have developed a fail-safe system: in your diary, under the date the are due back, write 'LIRARY BOOKS DUE BACK' in big, coloured letters. Then about three days earlier than that, write 'RENEW LIBRARY BOOK' in equally big, colourful letters, and then you have a few days grace to either return them or renew them. Simples! Please call me 'Pickle'

Well, I am busy today but have made a start on one of the books in my TBR pile; "Goodbye Jimmy Choo." I have an equal mix of chick lit and non fiction to get through (and then try and sell on GreenMetropolis).
I need to be disciplined; some of these books have been lying around here for too long and will never get read and are taking up space; I have too much "stuff" so the more I can get rid of, the better.0 -
