I'm reading :money:'s 'Thrifty Ways for Modern Days' and it's a keeper, so I ordered it off a seller on Amazon. While I was at it, it seemed chirlish not to order 'The Three Most Important Lessons You've Never Been Taught' as I can't get it through my library, so I've just spent £5.50 on two books, although they are reference books.

I've just realised that the last two posts were by me and now I feel really, really bad. It does mean that I've just bought The MSE Trilogy, though.

Pickle, you are naughty........Ive got ""Thrifty ways" and I love that book and use it a lot, so I agree its a reference book!:rotfl:

lincroft im no spring chicken but i keep buying books just read faster:p

when i die some charity shop is going to get a windfall ,after my funeral the mourners(if i get any)can come back and help themselves from my library
i have a few very special books that will be part of my will special books for special people:Abought 4 books today ,:obut in my defence i did shop around for the cheapest prices and i promise to enjoy reading them:D

I'm in trouble. Just got a Waterstones voucher from colleagues for B'day.

Am halfway through The Daughter Game - by Kate Long, good stuff if a little depressing.

not finding much reading time at the mo so still havet finished the book i started at the beginning of the month:o
was a bit naughty and brought private peaceful this monring at the carboot (only£1) watched it performed as a play at the local high school recently and was very impressed and promised myself id read it. 2 of my kids have read it and i have another one going up to that school so can justify the purchase as it will give him his own copy instead of ahving to share a school one

That's the equivalent of a 'get out of jail free card' in this challenge. Enjoy! :beer: (Don't you lot get any ideas of buying yourselves gift vouchers to get round not buying books!)

hi setmefree2, yes this is just my unread book:o, have about 100 on the read list which is waiting to be sold,thinking of doing car boot sale in warmer weather. Have never paid full price for them and always end up getting books as gifts, just not had time to read lately.

I was quite traumatised by the book. A diary of a teenage drug addict and her horrific experiences, which ultimately lead to her untimely death. I'd be surprised, if anybody in that class went anywhere near drugs!
