Me too - film was dreadful though!
I'm enjoying Worldwide Adventures in Love by Louise Wener, it's half a story about two teenage girls in the 70s and half reprinted letters written by a girl in the 40s who they were friends with as an old woman.
Also been flicking through my Budapest travel guide as I'm off on Thursday! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Nah...it's a long book. Or rather, even though it's a long book it is one which takes a fair while to pliugh through. I don't quite know why, though. I took ages to read the trilogy. Perhaps it's cos I wasn't too enamoured and kept stopping and starting. Please call me 'Pickle'

Yep! This is her fourth book, her first one Goodnight Steve McQueen is fantastic and I very much recommend it!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Just found this thread...can't believe I've missed it up till now!
I'm awful for buying books and I have loads I need to read. So I'm going to get through them before I buy any more! (does getting them from the library count though!?:rotfl:)
Read the Lovely Bones a few weeks ago...I thought it was great but have heard bad reviews about the film so not sure I want to see it.
Just finished Blacklands (library book) and thought it was excellent. Would recommend it - its a bit of a weepy at points though!
Sooooo...next on the list is The Luminous Life of Lily Aphrodite - borrowed off my Mum!!

Just finished "In the Red" by Alexis Hall. Good book about a spendaholic and how she overcomes it.0

I'm going to have to buy another book. My next book club choice is The Sea The Sea by Iris Murdoch, which I don't have already. I'll try and get it as cheaply as possible though!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
