Decided to have a sort through my tbr pile and update my list. My pile now stands at 117 unread books. Worse than I thought. Might be doable if I don't add anymore like I did when I popped into the library yesterday and saw they had a table of books for sale. All I wanted to do was check when my son's books were due back!!Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

I've got the audio book from audible so am hoping that will help me to progress!*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

Hi All
I ama newbie to this site but and can see you have all been doing this challenge for some time but i would love to join in!!! I LOVE books and buy so many but i have tons all around my attic room and am running out of space to store them all so this challenge may stop me from buying any new ones and so make room (as well as save money in the process!) I am not sure how many i have in total but as soon as i get home i will count up and start this challenge with fervour!!!

Fellowship of the Ring could take a while. My bus was slow yesterday so I could have read loads...but after 10 pages I'd nearly dropped it on the floor nodding off twice so I gave up! Fortunately not starting from the beginning again...didn't see the point really as I've read that bit twice already!
Well Bones of Paris is going reasonably well and I hope to have it finished next week.0 -

Bexidina, you are not alone. I counted up my books on Friday and found I have 118 to read. Only really get to read on my lunch hour at work so may take me some time with an average book taking a couple of weeks to read.
Good luck with getting through all yours.Did owe £9,951.96

finished only Dad by Alan Titchmarsh, was ok and i enjoyed it. my daughter won it in a raffle and i'd read one of his before - nice easy writing style that flows well. should have guessed what the bombshell tragedy that happens on holiday was with the book title being Only Dad. but subject is dealt with well and sensitively.
thats going in the charity shop bag now and ive got another off the shelf After you'd gone by Maggie O'FarrellSPC~12 ot 124
