  • I've just finished Hannah's Gift. I'm glad in a way that I was sat on the bus...if I'd been at home finishing it I'd have cried floods! Going for another Michael Morpurgo next. A nice quick read before Christmas! I might even get 2 read if I'm lucky (or 3 if I'm unlucky and stuck on buses for hours on my daily commute!)

  • I have just finished The Lovers Dictionary by David Levithan; it's a love story written through little snippets like dictionary definitions. Was a quick yet quite captivating read.

  • Amazons 20p Kindle books are my downfall. Even if i firmly resist the 99p ones' the 20p's one are sufficient to have me buy at least 5 for my sins.

  • I have abjectly failed in this Challenge: I now have 522 books to read, including hard copy and new Law books.
If there is any thread of a Benefits Card being brought in then hoarding against the evil day might be a good day, as well as the Library and dignify myself with many fine books to defy the utilitarian dullards attempting to micromanage my spending.
Books being my antidote to all the misinformation and false stories out there because I am stupid enough, adventurous enough to go after [books] I really really want, no matter how daft, insane or stupid.
