I've downloaded tonnes of free books and I think I've bought 2 - i'm tracking my fails in my signature.
My problem seems to be that I suddenly develop a new interest (now it's making your own cosmetic/perfume) and suddenly I want to rerad everythign about it, I'll have to learn to stcik to online resourses and the library!
When logged into your goodreads account, click on my profile then the apps tab. scroll down to see the sync to kindle option. I have followed the instructions ! but not sure if I have done it correctly as nothing appears to have synced yet !
I think its possible I haven't quite "got" what the sync means - I don't think anything syncs with your actual kindle but you can post stuff on to your amazon kindle account (use the address they show you as an example rather than the traditional kindle address) and comments/books to read etc that you may post sync with good reads ??0 -
Hi everyone,
Just popping on to say I do read all the posts, just dont write much myself

Still not got round to making my list of books to read, but did get given a disc with around 2000 ebooks on it by one of the girls at work, currently have it busy copying on to my external hard drive, eventually I'll sort it in to a list of things I have and haven't read and if I ever make space on the Kindle will put some of them on there......It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Welcome aliboy!Pull up a seat and look for your local library's website: their online service has saved me a FORTUNE in avoiding Amazon purchases (it's the same buzz, but without the bills!

Finished Two Lines - Melissa Marr and Undercurrent by Tricia Rayburn.
Both not on my Jan list, but I decided to read them anyway. Currently reading Forever Frost by Kailin Gow - another one not on my Jan list!0 -
littlepinkstars those books on your list sound like the kind of thing i like to read so now i'm tempted to go look some up:)
Finished Wives and lovers by jane Elizabeth Varley. I actually really enjoyed it which was unexpected and got completely pulled into the characters lives HOWEVER i didn't like one of her character decisions at the end of the book so that is niggling me at the mo. ***
Now I'm off to raid my book basket for my next adventure.
Am I the only one who doesn't have a kindle and has no desire for one?:(Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Hi all, can I join please?
I have been sort of following this challenge for a year now without realising it! I think after Christmas 2010 I was finally able to move my bookcase from my Mum's house and decided I needed to cull my book collection and to avoid buying new books, only buying on ebay or greenmetropolis. It worked quite well but somehow my bookcase is full again and I got quite a few for Christmas.
I love to read and love talking about books but often don't know anyone who's read it. I'm currently really into fantasy books but try to alternate with non-fantasy books! This year my goal is to join the library as I haven't been since I was a teenager and think my card has expired!Have just finished the second book in the Fire and Ice series (Game of Thrones was on TV) and I am gagging for the others.....must resist temptation....
Have LOTS of Shakespeare on my Kindle app and I need to stop buying books. I also got Stieg Larsson's books for Christmas so they're next on the list
I am absolutely loving these books! Just finished book 3 part 2 over Christmas and I'm trying to resist book 4!littlepinkstars those books on your list sound like the kind of thing i like to read so now i'm tempted to go look some up:)

I don't. I love the actual books as much as the story inside. My Mum and brother have kindles and they are great for them, but just not for me!
I started recording all the books I read in 2010 because I hate to forget them and since July 2010 I've read 35 books. I thought that was a lot until I started reading this thread! I'm going to list books as of the start of January and I've already read 3 books due to being off work. I'm having an operation in a couple of weeks so will hopefully read a lot while I'm recuperating.
It's nice to meet you all! I'm off to list my books and investigate goodreads
