Finished Phillipa Gregory's The Red Queen last night at work, have another book in my locker to get started on tomorrow but can't remember which one I took with me now! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi lauralou83, have to agree with you found this one very hard to get into at first but once half way in was easyier to read, think Celebrity Shopper was the best of hers have read so far, have just got how not to shop to read but going to leave it for few weeks.
finished abela the girl who saw lions by berlie doherty, today was very easy read just wanted to see how ended.Have started reading mother of the bride by kate lawson. Still managed not to buy any books.# 017 -Sealed Pot Challenge 8

I buy books based on scarcity qaulity and value so my Market is not your conventional Literary Book Prize List or Lists at Amazon or WH Smith.
However I feel the idea could be adapted to my life as reading as much as possible before I need to buy another book. No idea how to measure.
The idea is an excellent one which in my case needs a strong partial adherence too. I fear that might not be in the spirit of the Challenge hence this post.
#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
Reading whatever books I want to the rescue!:money::beer[/B

Oh dear one of my work colleagues noticed that I've taken to reading 'real' books while I'm at work and brought me a present of a couple of books this evening. I've popped them in my locker - can't remember what they are - and will keep them as the next ones to read while I'm working, she doesn't want them back so will probably donate them to the charity shop afterwards. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I bought a book today. It was Terry Pratchett's latest, Snuff, and I didn't even know it was out.
I do not feel guilty in the slightest, however, as I LOVE Pratchett's books, and I consider them a worthy addition to my bookshelves. Please call me 'Pickle'

I'm resisting - its on my Christmas list so if noone gets it for me I'm going to have to get it in the New Year myself or rather to buy two copies as if I only get one I would put money on Mr S and I having a falling out when he takes it with him when he deploys! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
