*waves sheepishly* I had a weak moment in Waterstones, somehow three books jumped in to my bag and insisted on coming home with me, and my credit card obligingly threw itself at the card machines before I could muster up the energy to stop it!
So I have I heart Paris, Dear John and The Queen of New Beginnings to add to my bag of unreads. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I know it seems somewhat apt doesn't it! Still it looks like I'll have time to read on my breaks at work now so with any luck I can make a dent in the bag contents. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I've finished reading The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood. I was so pleased it had 600+ pages as I loved this book. Can anyone recommend any other of her books? Not that I am looking to acquire one just yet, of course [cough].
I am now going to read The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I loved The Shadow of the Wind and so I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into this one.0 -

I have I heart New York by the same author - currently being read by my little sister who is loving it - wanted to get I heart Paris - but i hate having to pay the full price!
Dropped off 19 books at the Charity Shop this morning (some read some unread (although only 1 or 2 unread!)) and 10 or so last weekend - book collection is being reduced!
But whilst i was sorting through my books i found The Reading Group by Elizabeth Noble (also bought Alphabet Weekends at the same time which is fab) and The best of Times by Penny Vincenzi (Sheer abandon is brilliant and hopefully this one will be the same) in a waterstones bag....neither of them touchedUsing my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos0 -

Finished Sophie Hannah's 'Little Face' today, and I have to say it was totally gripping. This psychological thriller had me guessing right up to the end:T:T:T:T
Off now to decide which of the many books gathering dust I'll tackle next. (Some day I might actually tackle the dust!)0 -

Be careful where you read 'brief history of tractors' - this book is so outrageously funny that you'll be laughing away to yourself - might get you some strange looks - enjoy!0
