How can he prove it that his gf deleted the emails, there may have been a 'technical' error with Hotmail ;)
  • I feel exactly the same way. But if he does go to police has she commited a crime?

  • Why did she not forward all the emails to woman a, b and c to woman d, e and f and vice versa? Missing that chance is criminal!

The kh is only going on the attack because he's been found out.

Laugh at him and ignore it. The police would laugh him out of the station for wasting their time.

And if he continues, she should tell him if he does that, she'll go to the papers and tell them they were dirty messages to MEN...

I think the police would laugh.

They did prosecute the lady who went through her hubbies wardrobe with the scissors through every item, but I think the one who distributed hubbie's wine cellar round the local neighbourhood got away with it.

Stop worrying, the police have better things to do than come round and inspect the computer to see who deleted emails etc.

If that's ALL she's done, he should consider himself very lucky

It can be proven that 'someone' logged into his account and deleted them. I'm not sure how it could be proven that it wasn't him though. Even if it could, having a password so obvious that someone else could guess it would leave HIM liable in the case of bank account hacking, so surely same rules apply?

Anyway, the police would tell him to take a hike, I'm sure. they have bigger fish to fry

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but here you go. Im asking advice on behalf of my friend who has done something silly in a fit of rage.

She found out that her long term boyfriend had been cheating on her, so she guessed the password to his hotmail account and deleted all his emails - including all the ones he had been sending to other women!

He is hopping mad, and has said that he is going to ring the police and report her. Is logging onto someones email account and deleting emails a crime? Its not as if she logged on to steal his bank details and try to defraud him she did it as she was really mad with what she had just found out and did it in a fit of rage. She feels a bit silly now but what is done is done.

I just wondered if he was mad because she'd caught him out or at the loss of the emails.

    Are they still together?
