I FF both my 7 year old and 5 year old, am 10 days overdue and have no intention what so ever to BF. Quick, take me to the stocks!

I didn't realise this thread was also about how we chose to feed our babies. My first 2 were FF. No intention of ever BF them. I tried BF with the 3rd, just to say i'd given it a go and I hated it. FF my 4th from the offset.

Don't let anyone make you feel guilty for your choice.

    I used cot bumpers
I don't use anti-bacterial spray, a little dirt does them good
    I gave them all dummies

DD had a dummy the day we left hospital... (actually that's not naughty - the MWs there told me it apparently is now thought to help against cot death - I only gave it to her as she wouldn't settle... and it wasn't an ergonomic one!!!)
I use cot bumpers... I didn't even know I shouldn't! That must be ULTRA bad!
Dirt is not only good - it's not an option when you live next to fields and have a dog and 2 cats! Antibacterial... well... huh.... yeah... I use it in the kitchen and loos - the rest of the house is whatever I like the smell off in Tesco's :rotfl:

That's because it's not :) It's about all the things we get judged for in general and we feel we ought to be able to share with others and frankly... be able to laugh about instead of arguing :)

Also I am just about to go off and make LB a small tin of spaghetti hoops for dinner - he has been incredibly fussy lately, and I am feeling like death so what was good enough for me growing up can definitely be good enough for him, additives and all!

mine are bonkers for pasta, they dont eat much as it is so if they ask for something i know they actually want it, and most cases its just plain pasta *yuk* at least they are getting something down them. just remembered a few other things, *god i really do sound like a proper bad parent!*
dd was running around living room, slipped, fell and hurt her arm, took her a and e later in the afternoon to find out it was broken
ds was 12 days old, (i got used to dd being ok with everything) when wiped his face with a wet wipe. a few hours later he had an alergic reaction to them and had yellow blistered all over his head (i felt soooo bad about that)
ds also has athsma although we had never got any advice from the doctors apart from being given a pump, one time he got really poorly so gave him his pump, 4 squirts every 4 hours as advised by doc. ended up going into hospital to be treated and promptly being told by a rather stuck up nurse that he can't over dose on the pump and to give it to him as often as he needs...
I let ds play with dd's pram and dolls when she is at school :D

edit to add. dd also really had a wobbly tooth, and i mean hanging by a thread wobbly, (she wouldnt even brush it properly) so i asked her to let me look at it and promised i wouldn't touch, then stick my hand in there real quick to try and get it. (i didnt get it but it fell out later that night)
Can you see the mountains through the fog?

Hooray.... somewhere to show how bad we all are sometimes:j

    I'm Maz

    - After 6 weeks both my boys moved to FF
    - I use disposable nappies for both boys
    - Most of my childrens clothes were my nephews as is the cot and pushchair (including car seat)
    - William sleeps with me at the moment and most nights he is on his side
    - I dont bath them everyday
    - Henry eats pizza/prawn toasts/baked beans lots
    - OH has given Henry nuts since he was about 18months old
    - Sometimes I've let Henry fall asleep on the sofa cos their was a programme I wanted to watch!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
