Gosh - I think I shall save this thread to refer to when I do things I know are bad in future... just to feel less guilty about my own inadequacies!
And that hopefully someone has done something MUCH worse than me :rotfl:

I wanna join! I'm a mummy to a 22 mo DS and also 24 weeks preg.
I'm a bad mummy because -
My DS's lunches consist of either chicken nuggets and chips or baby jars - what can i say, he doesn't like meals i cook from scratch (neither do i really)
DS was formula fed until he was 11 months old when i then decided to give him cows milk cos it works out cheaper
He has always been in disposable nappies - i was given reusable but i never put them on him cos i didn't fancy having all that extra washing
He has ate amongst other things - sequins, flour, glitter, sand, paper and the contents of his own nappy (damn pampers exploded in the middle of the night and he decided to eat the gel from within)
DS regularly has squash from his bottle
He was given a dummy at a day old (i think the midwife nearly had a heart attack) and still has one now despite his daddy protesting he's too old for a dummy
I cannot wait until he's 2 so he can be put into my local nursery and i can have a mornings peace
I put him in a playpen in my room, give him a bottle of juice, turn on the TV and then go back to sleep in the mornings so i can stay in bed until 10am - what can i say, this pregnacy lark has me too knackered to wake up any earlier (apart from twice a week when i have to force myself up at 7 so he can go to the local playgroup)
DS has learnt to count to 5 backwards and forwards solely from watching playhouse disney all day long
Despite being pregnant i regularly enjoy eating peanut butter and drinking glasses of cola
I think i'll stop now as this list is getting shockingly long (though i could easily go on and on ...) despite all these terrible things i've done my son is a happy and healthy toddler.
Thanks OP for creating this thread - it's given me a great laughMarried since 28/04/2007

OMG a thread which i can relate to 100%!!
I have 4 children
I have slept in the same bed as my children when they were born
DD1 shared a bed with me and my dog and on numerous occasions i would find her on the floor after being pushed out
I have FF 3 of my children and added extra powder sometimes
I have smacked my children when they have been really naughty
I told my DD2 to stop crying once, only to discover she had broken her collarbone ( the hospital said she hadnt either as she could move it, till xrays were done)
My youngest (aged 15 months) is currently sporting a huge egg shape on his forehead after headbutting the stairs
I have numerous animals, and the youngest has eaten dog food,
he has also sucked his dummy after the dog has chewed on it.
I only wash my kitchen floor once a month and have been known to drop food on it, rinse it off and still eat it.
My gawd, reading that back, i must be a monster0 -
Oh mums who feel bad about dummies... I had one till I was 3 I think... when I sold it to my godfather for 50p... (it was a lot of money back then! LOL) ever the entrepeneur! I spent it rather than saved it though... should have served as a warning if I couldn't keep hold of my pennies even then!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

most parents keep a little memory box of their children childhood but i keep a stack and store box for embarrising moments to drag out in front of the furture girl friends and wife.
It is going to be my revenge for all the times they have left crisp packets down the side of the settee or muched up the house 20 minutes after i have finished tidying it:rotfl:0 -

DD had a dummie until her third birthday, we asked her what toy she wanted the most and told her the dodo fairy would come and take all the dummies in exchange for this toyCan you see the mountains through the fog?0
