I'm peachy, I'm a bad mummy too to 3 children, goodness knows how they've got to 14 and 8 years old.
I FF all pf my children
I let one of my twins sleep on his front
I let my other 2 children sleep on thier sides
I used cot bumpers
I made up feeds 24 hours in advance
I gave them all calpol
I used disposable nappies
I used wipes (and still do, so much nicer than mummy spit)
I don't use anti-bacterial spray, a little dirt does them good
They were all in their own rooms by 3 months
I gave them all dummies
I drive them all to school
I would have drunk the odd glass of wine while PG if i had fancied it
I craved prawns while PG with DD and ate them every day
Plus many many more naughty things.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I couldn't bfeed, despite all the help from the midwives in the hospital. So I don't get naughty points for that. But of course I made up the bottles for the day.
And I gave him medised before it became a Class A drug. It helped dry up a really snotty nose.
And I let him watch LOADS of tv. At first it was just having Classic FM on the tv with a little bit of Baby TV (which I sincerely recommend to all new mums - at 3am it has programmes designed to help a baby relax to sleep!) but now he changes the dvds himself with a real man crush on Fireman Sam.
And when he falls over, right from the start, I have said 'oh, bump' and only given cuddles if he seemed really hurt. When he started nursery and hit the floor with a thump he picked himself up with a grin and carried on before the nursery worker could reach him with an emergency cuddle. She was baffled.
And I make him say please and thank you, no matter what.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

Meant I never had to get up for a night feed
That probably makes me a bad dad as well, or husband.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

Also I am just about to go off and make LB a small tin of spaghetti hoops for dinner - he has been incredibly fussy lately, and I am feeling like death so what was good enough for me growing up can definitely be good enough for him, additives and all!Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0

My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
I bottle fed my eldest and breast fed my youngest so i clearly must not love one of them.
Which one depends on your view or it could just be that my older lad had a poor suck and found it hard to put on weight being bf0 -
