My parents used to disconect all the cables from our TV and video recorder to stop my brother watching TV in the middle of the night.
They got up one night to find him sleeping on the floor infront of the TV with nothing less than:

    The towering inferno!!!

playing on the video... fast asleep... bless him. He managed to replug all the cables and he was only 4!!! Maybe that's the first sign we have of him heading for his engineering degree now ;)

Edited to add - I am completely failing to get him potty trained. He is more stubborn than I am!

ah me too! ds i 3 in april, and point blank refuses to sit on the potty!

oh edit to add, DD had a mufti day the other week, which i had completely forgotten about, (we live opposite the school) and the way to school i noticed everyone in mufti but still took DD in , in her uniform! (i was on my way to work tho)
then the school called me at 11am and asked me to come back, pick her up and get her changed into mufti then take her back to school!!! promptly told the lady where to go :D

Sorry to say this, but the Governement have done a U-Turn and said it's ok and good to have the odd glass of wine! So that makes you a good mummy!!!

Drat! Does that mean Glam and I can't stay here but I have to open a "slightly naughty" mummies (and daddies!) thread? Smeg!

  • Shame on you OP, keep your arguements to the original thread no need for this its downright nasty in a snidy way at least those pro BF were up front about what they wanted to get across.

Oh and I FF by the way but I won't take part in your silly arguement.

I think you still pass the test with all other atrosities that we inflict on our children a glass of wine being ok wont make much difference :rotfl:

And I want a thread where those of us who feel judged at every turn and tutted at for not being perfect can feel free to talk and have a laugh at the daft things that are part of life. Being as the original thread was about the cost of formula and it was attacked by a lot of anti formula mums then I don't think there is a problem with a thread where BF and FF mums (and dads) can discuss OTHER things - like weaning before government guidelines state, who use jars once in a while instead of cooking organic all the time, who quite frankly are human and not perfect to find a bit of mutual support and not constantly feel judged... This thread (you may have missed it) is not about BF vs FF - infact I think there are both BFing and FFing mums on here (I can't speak for the dad ;)) and until post 25 no-one seemed to think it was snidy or downright nasty. People saw it for what it was... imperfect parents for once letting their hair down about being imperfect.
