hi - my name is Tandraig and I was a bad mummy and now I'm a bad grandma!
I let the grandkids order me around as if i was a servant
I tell them things about their parent which parent would never want their kids to know (all the bad things mum or dad got up to)
I let them eat sweets (tho not the ones which send them doolally - I aint stupid enough to let myself in for hyperactive sleepovers)
I let them have breakfast for supper and if they want supper for breakfast - they can have it!
I let them watch any DVD they want - provided the age guide isnt toooo far off! like 5 years or so!
I ignore their swearing and if they fart i laugh.
they DONT have to brush their teeth if they dont want to
If they want to bath twice or three times a day - I let them! my grandkids are weird like that - they love baths and i had sooooo much trouble getting their parents into one!
I buy them candy sticks and call them fags! so they can have one when i disappear into porch to have mine!
er - when they were babies and teething i used to rub whisky or vodka on thier gums - was expecting to have to take them to AA meetings before they started school!
oh and loads more - but will stop now as you all have enough ammunition to phone social services now!!

    Love this thread!! :T

    I'm a bad mum because I-

    I never BF
I used to make up the next days bottles the night before coz I'm cool like that
DS slept in his own room from 3 months onwards
I fed him jars bought from Tesco :D
Never once attempted to puree food for him
Used to work p/t in the evenings and weekends so didn't need any childcare (ex was around) but I still put DS in nursery 3 afternoons a week
I lived for those 3 days of peace!
I'm now at uni fulltime so DS goes to nursery 5 days a week (yes that's right, 5 days a week, all day!) Guess I'm gonna go to hell for that one
Wasn't potty trained till the age of 3
Still has a dummy at night
    Doesn't have a bath everynight
He has sweets or a chocolate bar or, shock horror crisps in his nursery lunch box
Oh and some Sundays we stay in our PJ's all day, he watches cartoons whilst I catch up on some work :p

    :A
    Future Mrs Gerard Butler :D

Well if you do the dab for baby - swig for mummy thing.. one of you collapses in a heap eventually and the other doesn't care any more!

I am being a really bad Mum right this minute. I am cooking spaghetti bolognaise for my kids dinner. I have used a jar of pasta sauce instead of making my own. Furthermore we have got a chocolate cake for pudding, made out of a packet.

lol my Mum used to use whisky on my elder sisters until they went to the cupboard once brought the bottle out and said the wanted "juice" -in front of visitors too!

Sure I am going to get flamed for this and sorry for spoiling the party, but although most of it is lighthearted I am finding some of this thread really irresponsible.

You have no idea who is reading this and how impressionable they are - discussing giving babies alcohol, no matter however small the amounts might be is quite disturbing as you have no idea how it might be perceived by others and how your posts might be acted upon.

    Sorry guys :o
