Hi I'm MrsT and I am a mummy to a gorgeous DD of 8 1/2 months - I'm a bad mummy because:
I have given her jars of baby food
I formula feed
I sometimes let her wear the same baby grow 2 days if it's not actually dirty
I let her sit on a floor not washed that day with disinfectants
I use disposable nappies
I use wipes and not cotton balls
I have returned to work and handed her over to a child minder - because apparently bills have to be paid!
I let her sleep in her own room in a cot bed and have since she was 3 months
I let her pet (torture) the large dog (never unsupervised!) and pull the cats tails
I sometimes allow her to cry without picking her up immediately

and a whole load of other reasons I'm sure :)

Come! Join me! :D

(but only if you're a bad mum! :p)

When my son was a baby he got an operation on his foot when he was 6 weeks old. He was in plaster up to his thigh. I was changing his nappy on my lap one day. I held his legs up, cleaned his bum and put his legs down only for him to start screaming. When I looked down his littly willy had got caught in the top of his plaster and when i'd put his legs back down his foreskin had stretched a good couple of inches at least. :o
  • I FF both my 7 year old and 5 year old, am 10 days overdue and have no intention what so ever to BF. Quick, take me to the stocks!

Awwww poor little man. Bless him

I'm a bad mummy too. I FF my DD, co slept with her, let her sleep in my bed for the first 4 weeks and then put her in her own cot. She cries and doesn't get picked up straight away. She eats mostly toast, bread sticks and biscuits.

I think we should all hand ourselves in now!!!
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..
  • Oooooh i feel right at home on this thread :rotfl:

-I formula fed both of my ds who are 4 and 2 now,

-I have taught them that pyjama days are what sundays are made for

-I have let them eat jelly beans for breakfast:eek:
-I pureed a home cooked meal once and once only and then relied on hipp jars for the next 6 months (pre moneysaving days of course;))

-I also am guilty of giving my son the dummy for 5 mins peace,

oh my, that sounds bad doesn't it, but my boys are happy. healthy and loving so i'm not all bad:rotfl:

Heehee... I daren't you might shoot me!

I have 8 children so of course they are all neglected, never get any attention and I let them make their own lunches on a weekend (sandwishes/toast/noodles.. nothing healthy of course!)

Mine are not bathed every night!
They do not get a 'cooked from scratch' meal every night.. they LIKE freezer crap!
On christmas day I let lthem eat chocolate ALL day long!
I make my 15 year old do her own washing
dd5 had a dummy until she was 5.. she was 5 last November lol
I do not let them play in the street like wild beasts
I do not always remember to wash the jam off their faces before school.. oops lol
I forced them to be breastfed.. not because it is better for them but because I am too darn lazy to get up in the night to get them a bottle :p
I didn't wean them until they grabbed food from my plate and ate it themselves.. I later discovered this is called babyled weaning.. Hey, I'm just lazy!
They wear loads of second hand gear.. (not underwear or shoes)
They have communal pants and socks
I make them do housework when they are naughty.
I slap them when they are horrible.. it makes such a pretty sound :p
I shower them because it makes me laugh when they are terrified of the spray.. it is ONLY water after all! They are just being silly!!
I regularly feed a couple dessert in front of the others if the have finished eating all their dinner.
I too used babywipes and disposable nappies on occasion.. I was far too skin flint like to buy them so often used cloth nappies and face flannels/kitchen roll

Not once but twice while pinning a terry square I pinned his willy too.. ooops! I also once zipped one of the boys willies in his trouser zip.. I often catch their chins in coat zips.

I sent my middle son to school with a massive infection in his knee.. well he didn't need to stand up to learn! The same son also got sent to school with chicken pox.. obviously not bathing them every day I didn't notice the spots... 2 weeks later 11 children in his class, my other 4 children and my brother all had them.. blonde moment!

I don't make them do homework.. they can either do it or get in trouble for not doing it.. their choice!

Last night I gave my daughter cough medicine which is almost 2 years past it's 'best before' date.. it worked.. she stopped coughing.

I am a really bad mummy to 2 boys now aged 13 and 12.

I bottle fed the older one
They lived in baby grows until they were at least 6 months old
I weaned them on jar food
I let them sleep in bed with me as long as they liked and co slept with my youngest from the day he was born.
I gave them dummies and comfort blankets
When using bottles i pre made a days supply and stored it in the fridge
When my youngest broke his arm aged 6 and needed an operation and was fighting against being put to sleep i held him down so the nurse could get on with giving him his pre op.
Now they are older i dont organise every moment of their social lives. I let them go out alone to play or met their friends.
They eat pizza at least once a week.
They have moblle phones on contract.
I let them have tv's and ps2's in their bedrooms.
I spent more than £9.99 on a birthday or christmas present for them.
I let them wear brand labels and shock horror even buy them for my self.

I am a hopless case and i cant think why my kids are not spoilt terrible brats

Well my five-year-old only has two school sweatshirts, so each one has to last a full week until washday. It's usually filthy by tuesday, so it gets a quick wipe down with a jay-cloth. Am I a bad mummy?

    Is she still breathing?

    I presume dad's weren't excluded on purpose?
    So........
    I'm a bad dad because:
I tell my DD not to eat crisps, then I eat too many myself.
This morning I "told" my OH to show me her bum while she was getting dressed, without thinking about the fact that DD was in the room as well. We then had a few minutes of DD wanting to show me hers and laughing about it as well. Honestly if the social workers ever get hold of DD....
I let DD watch things on the TV that gave her nightmares.
I'm much too strict about her food being eaten.
    Sometimes I'm a moody bu**er.

You've all reminded me of a few others.
I made my OH put both DD and DS in their own room from a couple of weeks old, because I just couldn't sleep properly. (both survived)
I always keep DS in sleepsuits, even if we go out together :o
I really really like disposable nappies, but I hate the idea of them, normally, once a day, I give in to my non green nappy use desire.
I try to make DD keep her toys at least tidyish and have been known to make a mountain out of them in the middle of the room........ while I'm really messy myself.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
