Just managed to do some gardening, we have a very small front garden [about 8ft by 12ft] which we have spent last summer and Autumn preparing so that it can be a veg plot this year, so , I've been out and weeded it and filled half a green bin with the weeds and raked it over, all that has to be done now is for it to have a final fork over before the potatoes go in around end of March. I love getting out in the Garden, could spend all day out there, except for when its raining. Neighbours can't make up their minds as to whether we are mad or eccentric or if they are just plain jealous of us for doing it out the front, we're on the waiting list for an allotment and have been for 18 months and the list in front of us is still quite long so this will do until we get one. Off for a bath now

Valli - your night sounded like it was great and I'm just going to google "cheeky vimto"

I am slowly feeling like my mind has joined me from Australia. Only problem is I am falling asleep by 8 despite me trying to last longer and I am automatically waking up after 6 hours then disturbing OH with my tossing and turning. After 3 hours of that last night I somehow managed to sleep for another 3 hours! Hopefully I can stay up for a bit longer tonight, I am back at work on Tuesday and really need to get my body clock sorted before that.

All my washing and unpacking is done I just need to do the ironing and I will be ready to start flying again, although it will be baby steps for a while.

BTW, the recital I did last month...I passed! The email was waiting for me when I get home from Australia. I got 68% which although it doesn't sound very much it is at Masters level and the pass mark was 50%, I got some good feedback too, just my dissertation to do now hence the baby flying steps as this is now my priority.

Back to enjoying my time off with OH :j

  • :rotfl::rotfl:I have found a computer game I am better at than the twins:rotfl::rotfl:. I was clearing out some carpy old toys from under their bed and we found one of those old skool games you plug in the telly. I just whooped DS1's butt on pole position :D.
I know what you're thinking, tut tut flying avoidance tactic, but it is the school holidays and quality time with your cherubs is important too :o.

Right, need to get my lazy bum in gear. As my dear old nan used to say "this won't get the baby bathed"

Off to tackle the bathroom, empty the vac and load the WM

    Hi everyone.

Went this morning and got DD her washing machine. I use a local family firm who have been trading years. BecuseI always usually get my white goods from there I get a bit of discount. They always have some kind of deals on too. The service is very good and delivery quick. They will also take the other one away for her. We went for a Samsung so hope its ok. They also had Bosch white knight and hotpoint. Came back and picked her phone up from repair shop then went and got paint for GS2s room. Came home and did the bathroom and thats it.

lamewolf. Hope you had a better nights sleep.
    cyclingyorkie.
Hope you are ok after your fall.
Sarah2490 Sending positive healthy vibes for DD hope she gets well soon. Take care and big hugs.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots and Lady L.

    Just finished my HHC
I have sorted clothes to correct rooms, cleaned one bathroom and put clean bedding on DS1s bed for hime to put it on before he goes to bed tonight. It was stripped yesterday. Need I say more?

Well done ajmoney, congrats on your results. You got a really good mark for your recital.

Re: the jetlag. I found as soon as I went back to work the time difference seemed to sort itself out. Despite me being a zombie for the first couple of days. It was September and we had some non pupil days which helped me to acclimatise (sp?).

    Congrats aj :T:T:T
My jet lag tip is to pretend it isn't happening... it worked last time - I stayed awake on the plane on the way home and made it through the day, so I was very tired, but not jet lagged :p. I do, however, keep my jetlag going while I'm away, trying to stay out of sync with my destination and in sync with home as much as possible (so for the US, early mornings, early nights).

Loo scrubbed, floors washed and dried downstairs. Fire lit. Heating about to go on and then I'm having a rest as I'm shattered.

Can I claim a kitchen and bathroom star please :j:j

On the down side I wont be claiming any more stars this week as I have pulled a muscle in my back...the pain is horrendous:eek::eek:...think I would rather give birth again.....

I have hobbled around MrMs and fetched DD1s birthday present from Argos this morning...she will be 20 on Monday...she has already had a 32in flat screen TV...actually the one from our LR...we had a bigger one at Xmas...but she has to have something to open so have got her some chocolates and a Hello KittyLava lamp (reduced from £20.00 to £13.00) so hasnt cost a lot.

I have blackmailed DD2 into doing the ironing tomorrow...well she wants to go to the cinema...

Need to get DS2 some trainers on Friday..his fitted last week:mad::mad::mad:

My DS2 loves warhammer and goes to our local branch every week ..he has been helping out showing newbies how to play etc...it has been very busy since it opened and the manager just cant do it all...he has come home today with about £40.00 of Warhammer stuff as his payment and been asked if he can keep helping out....he is totally thrilled bless him.:T:T..for those of you who dont know..Warhammer is very expensive and we cant afford to buy him much...has to be Xmas and Birthdays only.

    Congratulations....Grateful

Huge Hugs to Sarah and your DD...hope she is better really soon

Well Done to ajmoney on your results

    Love to all

Will post later if I can get my LOs to do any more jobs:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
