Hope everyone is well and having a good flying week x

Get well vibes for your DD and you must make sure you don't get run down from the stress of DD in hospital so lots of coping and soothing vibes for you too - hope DD gets better very soon

Don't worry about the house. Take good care of yourself instead, so you can be there to look after your LO. The housework will wait patiently for you. (Mine always does, and I don't really have a good reason.:o)

    note to self p 46

had a BRILLIANT time last night - part of the fun was knowing I didn't have to come back home at all, knowing the kids were safe and this meant I could REALLY relex and let down hair. Eyelashes stood up to the energetic jiggling;) and were admired and one of my colleagues wants me to put some on her!
DS, bless sent me a teXt 'night night x' awww.....
I have had a bath so feel all clean - oh and I put a load in the WM to come on overnight so it's on the line now!
And I now know WHAT a 'cheeky vimto' is  - I didn't have one!
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

At risk of being sexist, they are men.
Yup... I think that's most of the problem :p They don't seem to notice dirt. The windows weren't opened during the day, the bath might have been rinsed but wasn't cleaned, they changed their shoes to come into the house, but clearly as their clothes were filthy they just shed it everywhere... and they clearly ate nothing by fry-ups for breakfast and lunch _pale_ which has taken a LOT of clearning up.

Whole house (except spare room) has now been hoovered. Windows are still open, as there is a lingering smell of frying (I must remember to tell them to keep internal doors SHUT next time.

Need to scrub the downstairs loo, put a few more bits away in the kitchen and wash the floors - then I can have a break, light the fire and read for a bit before tackling the bathroom. Hopefully I'll finish the kitchen tonight.

Sarah - the others are right. Don't worry about the housework. Focus your energy on your DD. Hope she's better soon...

Sarah, so sorry to hear about DD - take care of yourself and I'm sending get well soon vibes to her and (((hugs))) to you xxx

You're all doing really well with all your housework, properly putting me to shame :o. I am sorting out the toy drawers in the front room though (been meaning to do it for 3 months!). DD and DS are playing really nicely together; he's in his racing overalls riding his electric motorbike around and she's in a policeman tabard and keeps arresting him for speeding on his bike!!

We're meant to be going out for a meal tonight; will go but as both of us are suffering and DH is jet lagged still we won't stay til the end at 10.30. It's a fundraiser for Nepal and is held at our Church hall, so should be nice and we've got some nice people sat on our table who DH knows too.

Best finish up tidying these drawers; why does the last bit always take so long?
