Just popped in to say hello!
I hope toots is doing well and L-l too.
Pigpen only get a dog if it is you who wants it. Think of broken nights again, cleaning up after it, possible destruction of shoes, furniture etc as well as walkies. I don't want to put you off but be prepared for your life to totally change.
Our new pup is gorgeous, already house trained, quiet, gentle and not destructive just like our old girl who died.
The big dog is loud, boisetrous, was terribly destructive (chewed the coffe table corners) wasn't house trained and wanted to chase sheep. He is a gorgeous big softy too.
Thinking of doing a bit of gentle flying today:)business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Oven, hob, cooker hood and microwave are clean. But I'm still working my way through the dirt (it's amazing how much more dirt an extra two people in the house make . It's going to take me at least the rest of today to deal with this... hopefully I'll get the majority of it done, as I don't have the time to spend on it tomorrow.

Phew! Hi everyone. All days at all levels are done (unfortunately all has been done in one mighty go and I feel a bit flat, but the week was so busy. I came home at 9 and went straight to bed
)
Thank you xx_Jo_xx again for the tea tree oil/ stardrops recipe. That, combined with vinegar did a brill job on my sink :j:j:j
Also, I wiped tops of all cupboards in the kitchen and changed newspapers on the top. And thought…. how great it is to use newspapers for that: first it is one more chance for the paper to be useful before hitting recycling bin and getting into the pulp factory to be reincarnated as something else… ops, diverting slightly here…. But also, you can check the date on the old paper and see when it was the last time you changed the papers on the top of the cupboards. Ohh.. that was deep of me..
Just going through the list one more time and have a few questions:
- What is ‘clear the pantry!’ on Tuesday’s list?
- what is ‘15 minutes grotspot clearance’ on Wed’s list?
- 27 fling boogie time? Er? 27 of things to find, or 27 boogies to play?
Soapie , toots and pigpen, my fave on the lists was ‘Make a list of 5 things you want done by the end of half term holidays.. ’ It is the most challenging item (I don’t know where to start!!!:eek::eek:)
Otherwise, thank you very much for the lists. Positive thoughts and vibes to everyone who needs it. Sorry, have not had a chance to read the thread at all.
I am going to fix myself rum and coke drink and get the dinner cooking.

Off for a HHC in our bedroom......
We went for a long walk earlier and the littles are exhausted. Tire them out, get on with stuff. Works for me.
Tomato - a pantry is a big food storage cupboard, usually found in older houses. 15 minutes on a grot spot is picking somewhere especially grim and doing 15 minutes clearance on it. For me this will be the top corridoor. A 27 item fling boogie is to find 27 things you do not need or love and get rid of them, usually to some sort of music. Choosing to bin/recycle husbands and children is enitrely optional.
pigpen - dogs, don't do it. Hard work, smelly, eat the contents of the litter tray and they don't even purr! Get more kittens instead, ideally gingers.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Hello
Still bunged up grrr..........feeling more human but tire easily which of course is driving me nuts. Hubby has helped clean upstairs bless.
Pigpen - adding to what others have said about the dog.......terriers can be very hard work and need much more exercise than larger dogs. They are very bright and loyal, real little characters but what would you say if it was us asking you?
I have 2 labs who will walk as long and as far as I can (when well!) or are happy to mooch on the bed when I have no energy.
The cat..................well for a 12 year old part feral ginger "thing" with attitude, she kind of rules. She will nag me to go out ten seconds later is up at the computer room window demanding hubby to let her in! Her latest trick is she has just rediscovered the fish tanks and took a flying leap across the living room at one of the tanks. I think she is trying to give my barbs a heart attack!
Going out soon shopping (hubby is taking me I dont feel well enough to drive) so hopefully some fresh air will do me some good.
See ya later
1 stepIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

I really am not very good at estimating how long things will take in the kitchen. I've pretty much decided where we are going tonight and I've almost finished baking, but that's it.
I've made 4 different lots of twinks (2 lots and each halved) - 3 as tray bakes with orange/chocolate chips, apple/cinnamon, apricot/ground almonds and the last lot are due to go in as ordinary biscuits. They're not bad at all, but I think I rushed the cutting up and one of the trays is very crumbly. Never mind, half of them are going in a cake box with a ribbon around and I'm sure my friend will appreciate them.
Now I really need to wash my hair, get dressed and go out for some flowers.0
