Jo hello sweetie xx I was wondering where you were but I can see you have been a very very very busy bee :T:T I hope you are feeling better for getting all this decluttering done and being more organised xx
toots xx
Im sorry I havent kept up with the thread....I miss everyone and will catch up at some point Im sure, but in the mean time.... "what Toots days.... I'll Ditto"
I am feeling better about it - but there are still lots of bits and pieces I want to do - I clear out a little bit of everything, I havent actually suceeded in gutting out anything completely....apart from under my bed.
Im really pleased that I've sorted the bathroom, built the units and resealed the bath. It looks like a new bathroom. I would never have gotten to it otherwise, regular cleaning took up all the time.
The living room, bedrooms and kitchen and always relatively tidy now, and I can then go round with a binbag, and instead of spending time trying to find the room underneath the crapola, im actually chucking out the well-hoarded rubbish which has been hidden under the regular detrius.
But as the flylady mantra goes - babysteps, babysteps. I am loving staying on top of the lists though. If I work hard at staying on top of everything during the week, then I can get to the decluttering and dejunking and DIY jobs that I never get round to!
And the good news is, my mum has finally been discharged from hospital in Sydney, but is not allowed to come home yet. She has to go back for a check up on Tuesday to see how the clots have dispersed, then they should make a decision on the 22nd as to whether or not she is allowed to fly yet.
Shes also had a heart attack (but not a major one) brought on by the lung problem putting too much strain on her heart, which is what caused her to collapse. They are keeping an eye on that, but its caused no major damage so its good news. Just hoping she gets home soon. Thanks for all the support, vibes and wishes xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

soappie sorry for not getting back on sooner - i was all ready to get back on at 7pm when my aunt phoned - by the time I got pc fired up again the new thread was up. Hope you feel better soon xx
sexy more get well soon vibes for you - be a good patient and be patient!!!!
hex yummy dinner!!
holly glad you had a nice time before the accident!!!
KazLA whats in the sideboard - why do you not know how to deal with it -if its stuff that you havent used since the year dot then get rid for starters. if its things that dont have a home then you need to find a permanent home for them thats logical - somewhere where they are used.
if its paperwork then it needs to be filed away or shredded. If it has more than one shelf try taking out the contents of one shelf only and dealing with that as best you can until you have whats left as tidy and sorted out as possible then do another shelf - doesnt need to be the same day - baby steps - always try to breakdown a big job into smaller chunks until you get through it. Tell us more if this doesnt help and we will come up with more suggestions
thats fine about the bed base - at some point you should empty the drawers and wipe them out and hoover the base if its fabic covered.
Well done keeping on top of the kitchen - thats a great start.:T:T
AnW'sMum give Miss A a bug cuddle from me - I am sure Daddy knows accidents happen xx And :mad::mad: at MiL:D
Jo honey you have had a brain transplant and you never told us:rotfl: sorry angel- you have really got to grips with the house and its brilliant - I am very impressed and need to take a bit of motivation from you I think - well done with the bathroom and like you say everything else will get the 'Jo' touch in turn. thats great news that Mum is finally out and I will be keeping my fingers, toes and everything crossed that they let her fly home real soon - i bet you are anxious to see her. Love and hugs to you and LO xx
ok off to the new thread now

Rubbish week this week flying wise, I 've hardly done flying. But I do have a new shed all built and ready to go
That and 3 mystery shopping jobs means I didn't play catch up this weekend
Still, we had an overnight guest on Thursday night and I didn't need to run round tidying up before he arrived, so something is improving!
