Oh well.. in addition to the flinging I've got through today it would appear that even though I am convinced I have done absolutely nothing all week there is not a great deal left of this weeks list..

I am almost inspired to vacuum through downstairs.. apart from the back room that looks like a skip. The stairs are desperate too.. I may have the boys on with that, they've done nothing else.

DD1 hasn't even surfaced today so I may go poke her make sure she is still in the land of the living..

Valli and Soappie I hope you are better soon

Serena the snowdrop and hellebore event sounds wonderful! Where was that held?

I've listened to my Bible meeting today and done a little bit of work, got to finish making a phone case this evening. Someone ordered an ipod holder, but wanted to keep her phone in it, so of course it wasn't big enough! rolleyes.gif I'm not overly bothered, it just means she's had to wait longer while I make her a phone holder!

I will be flying tomorrow and I'm aiming to go for a walk. I've been so tired and fed up this weekend, I'm hoping the walk will help. Hopefully it will be sunny tomorrow!

Well I've got a couple of takers for the paving slabs on freegle. I'm going to wait till tomorrow evening before doing anything, and hopefully I'll get some interest in the broken concrete too...

I've given up on flying for a bit, and am trying to get some work finished in front of the fire, as it's warmer in the living room!

Well haven't got round to Mt Ironmore yet. My stupid stupid washing machine keeps eating my laundry. One of my son's eiderdoowns has emerged from it's greedy jaws with a huge rip in it. I have discovered a chunk of plastic missing under the rubber seal between the door and the edge of the drum so I presume that is the culprit.

Sewing really isn't my forte and it has taken me nearly an hour to sew the first corner of the rip. I have stopped for a break (and a little glass of wine) before I tackle the second half.

Toots - I'll do my best after 7pm - but DS is coming over for dinner so I may be absent for a bit.

Still feeling a bit bleurghh but not as bad as Valli it seems. Have just had a long soak in the (nice and clean!) bath in the hopes the steam may have shifted whatever's sitting up my nose but it hasn't.

I think I have achieved this afternoon - it's been weeks since I got all five stars...

    Evening all,

Well I managed to persuade OH to drive me to Mr T today to get some cold and flu remedies, soup and ice cream to help me feel a bit better. After that I was wiped out again, so went back to bed and took said flu tablets and watched tv for quite a while (the caffeine in the tablets must've kicked in as I didn't fall asleep). Got up and made myself a bagel for lunch, then OH came back in from chopping up pallets from work for the wood burner and made tea, and we shared the cherry bakewell he's brought home for me for valentine's day. He'd even got the cute card I'd spotted in Clinton's the other day, and had pointed out to him and said, "that's my card there". It says "for my sexy girlfriend" on the front of it, and has 2 kittens curled up together (one ginger tabby and one normal tabby - they both look like 2 of my late cats).

I'm in PJs again, and drinking more tea. Feel a bit more human, although still have this annoying cough. May go for another nap in a bit as I'd imagine OH will be going shooting tonight.

We'll be having the leftover chinese takeaway from last night for our dinner tonight, so OH just has to microwave it when he gets home.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

    sexymouse xx

ETA OH also did some hoovering for me today, as the house is going to rack and ruin since I've not been keeping an eye on things.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

A lovely dinner if I do say so myself - by mutual agreement we don't do chocolate/flowers/etc, instead we have a good dinner. So lunch was HM hummus with HM breadsticks and crudities. Dinner was lobster with melted butter, followed by roast beef and trimmings and then HM profiteroles, and a very good cup of coffee. Far nicer IMHO than a box of cheap chocolates and much better for me.

DW emptied and filled, another load to get it all clear. DH had one last shirt ironed so I shall leave the rest till tomorrow. Hurrah for half term and (fingers crossed) a lie in :p.

    Hi all,

We've been to The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust in Slimbridge today. It was lovely especially the otters and pink flamingos. What wasn't so good was when i went to get coffee's i left Ds2 with OH in the play area and came back to find Ds2 dripping wet fom his waist down, he'd only gone and splashed in what he thought was a puddle but was actually a little stream, slipped and fallen on his bum. Thankfully we'd had enough anyway as we had to leave. The only things that weren't wet were his pants and vest. OH had a jacket in the car so he had to wear that. We had to wring his clothes out when we took them off. We stopped for McDonalds drive through on the way home, i thought i best we didn't go in.:p

    Before that i

    Made beds
    Collected laundry
    Wm x 1
    Td for 10 mins
    Cleaned rabbits out
    Tidied & wiped table
    Sorted recycling
Put dry dishes away x 2
    Washed up x 2
    S & S Kitchen x 2
Folded & put away load from td
    S & S Bathroom
Tidied & hoovered living room & passage
    made & eaten lunch
