A quick update before I'm off again. It took me just over an hour to:
hunt around for towels and dishes
put DW and WM on
declutter non-toy stuff off LR floor
clean and shine sink
collect all rubbish/recycling in kitchen and put out
Next jobs are to check for baking ingredients (hope I won't have to go out for anything)
decide where we're going tonight (need to make a phone call)
wash any dishes by hand that need doing
bake
I also feel hungry again, and it's not been that long since breakfast...:(

Also walking for little dogs is less important than for large hoppy floppy dogs..I was hoping it would keep the cats in line lol
If you really, really want one, then go ahead, but be aware that you are likely to have to take more responsibility for it that you intend....
Car collected (big bill). Windows open and house airing. Cooker hood filter and all the metal hob bits have been through the DW but still need a scrub... Cooker hood outside is soaking in soda crystals in the bath. Utility room hoovered. Shopping done.
So much to do to get the house back to normal... I bet it's only just done by the time the builders come back
Must clean up enough to cope with visitors for pancake day...0 -

It takes more than that to scare me sweetieI really need a new phone methinksenjoy your day out with the girlies :kisses3:
Sexy Dont go over doing it honey.....& the sun didn't last very long did it?xx
Fedup Ouch...migraines are horrid.....take care xx
FFP, Poppy, Mudders, Rose Hugs to my special peoplexx
Piggers You knew I'd have to give my opinionmy vote would be a no.....from a practical point of view......puppies cause havoc, are time consuming, expensive & a long term responsibility......DD may well....look after it for a short time....but what happens when as others have said.....boyfriends, college, uni, life in general becomes FAR more interesting...when she leaves home...you can't always take a dog with you, due to pet restrictions etc.......you need to be looking 10 years down the line & see who will be caring for the animal.....everything points to it being YOU
I understand how tempting it is.....I would love a dog but obviously cant commit to one....so I "dogsit" for my neighbour while she works.....I get all the love, company of the dog without the cost, responsibility, mundane poop scooping etc.....is that an option for DD? But if I have an inkling of the way you do things.....you will take on board everything people have said & then do what you want anywayso good luck & love the little bundle to pieces :rotfl: xx
Flying.......ummmm....it's the weekend.....so zero
Special love & hugs to toots hope your visit went ok the other day re: the care plan xxx“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -
This isn't necessarily true - terriers bred for hunting need a LOT of exercise. And where big dogs might just sulk & sleep, little ones can be very disruptive
Too true. Pip's at her best when she has at least 90 mins exercise each day (ideally a big chunk of it offlead). I can't do it daily, but I do as much as I can. If she doesn't get her exercise we all know it as she's in to everything, under our feet constantly, whines, sits at the door staring pointedly at me and is just generally a bit miserable.
Saying that about pets though, we're seriously considering getting some chickens so I've got to kick my fear of chicken's feet into touch pretty sharpish :eek:Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
