mummyof5 - does your ds collect the lord of the rings ones as well or just the warhammer stuff? Both my older brothers were into it twenty years ago, plus more recently my stepsons and I know more about it than I care to admit to! Hope your back is better soon.

Serena - May I be a pain and ask you for the website of the french gites firm you suggested before. I have searched back on the threads and I cant find it. It is looking like our MPs intervention will result in a compensation payment for the lost maintenance from DHs ex wife for SS1 last year which we are considering spending on what is likely to be the last whole family holiday as SS1 turns 18 next month.

I ended up staying upstairs for a few hours and have got loads done - decluttering and cleaning, then came down and sorted the craft cupboard with DH. Found lots of photos of the wedding and Austrailia which was lovely. Our walk today took us past where we first loved so quite a 'romantic' day for us considering neither of us is into valentines or anniversaries.

Well I went to meet DH, gave him the kids and went shopping although then DH rung me to ask if I was going to do the food shopping at the same time! I guess that counts as my half hour to myself so a star for Friday please Toots!

Have done very little today, apart from the minimal dailies!!!
Watched the rugby and not a lot else!!!

Keep having panicking thoughts about the hospital test a week next Thursday.....not about the tests so much but IF I have to stay in, the spare room is still a pit and there is a mountain of ironing, so, next week I really need to pull myself together and get them sorted. If anyone else was to be left in charge here they wouldn't have a clue where to start. So for next week, I am not putting the attic on my dailies list but will TRY and keep up with the spare room and ironing!!

Sorry for the little moan/rant but needed to get that off my chest and please feel free to Kick/flinf mules where appropriate xx

Today I have watched football, watched rugby, watched a film, watched rugby ........... oh, and washed up!!

I am having a lazy weekend (my mum told me too ) and intend to be flying big time next week.

Just had a crazy HHC in the girls room.. OH and the 3 girls kind of helped.. The boys filled a binbag from their room and I got another from the girls room so my wheelie is now half full!!

Had a surprise visit from an old friend today which was lovely.. nice old natter.. she met OH for the first time.. I'll ask her later if she was suitably impressed..

Oh.. other 'big news'... drumroll please..............





















I finally got the christmas decs up the stairs out of the front room!!!!!!!!!!!

Just need to get the darn things in the cupboard now!! I was going to sort them out now but I'll do them when I get them out this year I think.. there are loads of unused things which can be rehomed.

I MUST sort my ebay parcels and my catalogue returns tomorrow..

Now, I am going to yell at the boys.. then watch last weeks Heroes and maybe an episode or 2 of house then I'm away to sleep!!
