Well the little trip out earlier was a trip too far - that'll teach me to run before I can walk! So, I'm off to get ready for bed and watch TV in bed. Casualty is on really late again - grr.

Just had chinese takeaway which was yummy, and there is of course the obligatory half left for tomorrow lunch.

See you all tomorrow. Night night - hope you all sleep well (particularly Lamewolf)

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Toots, I just want to say a huge thanks for DD's star, I just showed her and she is well chuffed. She then asked how many I got (2......so far!!) and I asked her to help me next week to get 5 and she said "yes.....she is a junior in here, woohoo, I have to wait till year 3 to be a junior in school!!!!! So I can help you too"
It really is a turnaround xx

ETA....Really is quiet here this weekend........romantic antics or rugby antics?????????

Tomato Wow you are certainly getting into the lists in a big way - be careful not to do tooo much all at once and sicken yourself of housework. Make a list of all the things you would like to do before end of half term then pick the 5 most important - the others could maybe be slotted in during the next few weekends?
pooh nice to see you angel - hope you are feeling better? and that these men are lookinhg after you properly?:D
Sarah awh huge (((hugs))) and prayers for you and DD - she is in the best place but I can only imagine how you must be feeling - hope she is home very soon and back to her usual bouncy self - take care of yourself too - it wont do if you are poorly!!!

junior hope you enjoy your new mattress and in your nice tidy bedroom (I hope!!!!)
keggie great decluttering you have been doing - it makes a big difference once you get things out - well done:T
sabs well done on finally being able to eat in the dining room - thats a great achievement :T:T:T
hex sounds like a nice day but I was on the wrong track too:rotfl::rotfl:
toochoosey stop panicking pet and get things organised just in case and then you most likely wont need them IYSWIM? I am sure its not that bad because you are pretty good at keeping up with the lists - just make sure the spare room is useable. (((hugs))) try not to be worrying until you have something to worry about xx Thats great that DD has changed her attitude - maybe the extra responsibility has helped - whatever its fantastic!!!
pigpen :T:T well done getting the decors moved but dont let them sit on the landing as long:rotfl:
sexy i did wonder when i read you had gone out that it was a bit much for you - you silly moo! dont do that again or else!!!! rest rest rest rest rest and maybe some rest should help!!!! I know its boring but its what you need - look how run down you have been - this is a fine chance to get back on your feet properly (((hugs)))

  • Evening all

Just a quick post from me as DH and I have another Saturday evening alone as DSS has gone back to his mum's to spend tomorrow with his GF - his mum has had the baby so I think he is trying to stay out of the house as much as possible (bless him)

I'm really impressed with myself this week as I have managed to get

All this week's stars done :j
Can I please get the stars Toots x
For my Friday list I decided to concentrate on the back porch and out of madness, I decided to paint it all......... Back is killing me now but I have finally got rid of the nasty blue paint that was on the walls, and tomorrow, DH will use some spare carpet that we have to cover over the nasty blue tiles :T - we have lived here since 2001 and are still getting rid of the odd colours that the previous residents had.

Happy Valentines to everyone for tomorrow - I know i''m early but DH and I will be in the garden fingers crossed so have a lovely day no matter what you have planned '

It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

Hello everyone! What a start to the half term :D

A brilliant result Frodders, I listened to it on the radio. After the first half, the conspiracy theorist in me wondered if it would be a fix - i.e. a draw so there had to be a replay so Pompey got some more dosh to help stave off the tax man... But I sometimes thing too deep ;)

Did you go to the match or did you watch it on TV? And Mum's know best, if yours has said have a quiet weekend then make sure you do!

I'm SOOOO glad DS's iphone was replaced LAST weekend and not this, it would have been even more of a mare!

I have pottered today then went out to Mr T to take advantage of the spend £90 and get £13 off till spit I got last week. I stocked up on Lurpak (it's on offer!) gin and tonic and animal food. Then blow me, as I paid, out pops another till spit for the same offer, valid until 21st Feb. I think they must be missing me ;) I shall go in the week and stockpile loo rolls and more gin and things :D

But my dinner is ready, the next Poirot has started so I'll off eat and enjoy - if this sneezing fit that started in the last half hour behaves itself!
