Toots / Soappie, please may I have my last 3 stars for my gleaming house. Just need to clean up my life now xx
  • Rosepink - kiss.gif Really pleased you had a good time, as I said while you were missing, you deserved it.

Thanks sweetie! Hope you get your appointment soon and get the result you want

Prettypennies well done on going for your smear test, that reminds me I must find out when mine is, I’ve lost the piece of paper telling me when I booked it for

Keys, please arrange to have a smear test, as some of the ladies on here can tell you, having a smear could save your life. Think of Jade Goody and our own dear Lady Liberty and go and have it done!

Hugs Sexy, flu is awful. Hope you are feeling better soon

Triker, our hoover is also one for pets (don’t ask me why?) and it used to get v hot and then cut out to prevent explosions! We cleaned the filters and it’s fine now, have you tried that?

TC well done on your weight loss and fantastic flying! I’m glad you like the photos, and have a lovely time at Butlins

Hugs Ishtar and to your mum

    Kazw are you ok?

Grateful, CONGRATULATIONS! I’m so happy for you!

AnW’s I’m glad tht the lady with the tumour is doing so well, hoping for an easy birth and successful treatment for her

Hugs Nutty I hope your pain goes soon and you get a new job. Lovely to hear you are mentoring a young person, that’s wonderful

Natty I hope you are better soon

Soappie you did really well at that meeting you chaired!

Tooch well done on your weight loss!

Love and hugs Lady Liberty, I’m thinking of you as always xx

Hugs Lamewolf, I hope your nightmares are going away now. I go through phases like that and it’s really horrible. One suggestion is to take something like Nytol before going to sleep as it’s a relaxant and might help you to relax mentally as well as physically, I’ve tried that and it seems to help. Do you have anything on your mind at the moment, any worries or anxieties?

Tooch thanks for thinking of my Nan, I saw her yesterday and she was still very dizzy but not being sick so that’s good. Hopefully she will improve soon

CyclingYorkie hope you don’t ache too much after your fall

Mumof2 hope you feel better soon

Big hugs Sarah, hope DD is better soon xx

AJ well done on your recital

Sorry I've not been here yet today, I tried to go out this morning but got there and had to come straight home again. Have been napping on and off and watching TV, while sitting at my light box, so hopefully i will be able to go out tomorrow instead. I feel quite well in myself so that's good - maybe I'm just tired cos of the after effects of the cold. I'm really craving vegetables which is not like me at all! I ate millions of green beans at dinner time!
Am not flying this weekend - will start again on Monday

Triker if it's not too late then there's a half price one at Argos at the moment (£50) it's a Vax Pet bagless one and we got it last week to replace our Miele that broke- very impressed so far, at the moment I'd say it works better than the Miele did!!!!

mummyof5 ((hugs for you)) welll done to your DS, mine have just started collecting warhammer, I can't believe how expensive it is! I don't think there is even anywhere I can get them any cheaper which always makes me cringe as I love bargains.
Sarah2490 hope your DD is better soon ((hugs)) for you all x x
Triker if you still don't have a noo noo they had some cheap in Sainsbugs, Vax model my Dad has and really liked included. Argos have some offers on too at the mo.
toots the 'dry run' does sound like a good idea, I've been gently doing that I suppose getting him to do more with them. Tomorrow he's having them while I go shopping. They still don't ask him for food/drink which is something we need to tackle.
    ajmoney well done
pigpen do you want my decs from the front hall or the wrapping paper off the stairs instead :o As for pooch, you're sensible enough, I do find them very tying. Even to go to Scotland it's costing me £38 to get him looked after. I much prefer larger dogs, we have a lab/springer boy and yes he can be hyper and loves loads of exercise but just as happy in the garden if DPs away and I can't get out with him. He's brilliant, next doors little dogs are much more horrid when they have not been walked. Cats are always dogs bosses, I don't know any dog bosses of cats. Know your DD is more helpful than most but have to keep in mind it will be your pet not hers. PDSA are struggling funding wise, so would tell DD not bank on them always being there. Oh and appointments you beat me, we're on 19 so far by end Feb.....that said there is less of us lol good luck.

DPs said he wants to tranfer his car stuff into the shed, wooohoooo that means I get a store cupboard under the stairs back! Oh, what a bloomin shame the PS3 has broken, I might actually be able to get DP to do something instead of just talking about it :rotfl: how evil of me to be thrilled! I don't wish it forever, just a little while. Replacements not cheap.

Well todays not been so bad, DP did help a bit in the living room. I think he's realised if he'd kept the PS3 a little cleaner it might have worked for longer. Sitting room is tidy/clean. Place in unit allocated for the warhammer stuff. Just going to sort out the mountain of laundry in a pile at the bottom of the stairs - into piles for everyones rooms as I am sick of it being left in mine! Then some reading of my course book before bed as I have not read much of it today.

    xxx
One day I might be more organised...........

I enjoyed dinner, and the Poirot but I'm STILL sneezing and am v. congested and dripping like a tap nasal wise..

I'm hoping it's due to the fibres thrown out through the TD which I naughtily put on this evening rather than a cold.... doubtless time will tell.

Am off to bed now - sleep well ppl xx

  • Lil_me and mummyof5, apparently if you work for Games Workshop (and I realise it isn't appropriate for your kids lol) you get discounts of up to 50% on Warhammer and 40K stuff. You may want to make friends with the guys who work in the shops, they may be tempted to get you some bits cheap if you butter em up. One of my OH friends worked in one of the shops and they got him to buy all the figures needed, passing him the cash.
