Baby Milk Price Hike!

PP they do my head in a bit. I now have a complex about how much veg and fruit me and DS (don't) eat.
I like to buy certain veg pre-frozen because i am terrible for letting fresh stuff go off before i used it, or only using half. Also i like doing my main shop online and stock up on heavy stuff i don't like to carry home (i.e bags of potatoes, bottles of milk...).
So they work for me in a way, cos i end up buying out of season strawberries just so the voucher doesn't expire unused.
Although i needed to round up to the voucher amount the other day and already had too much veg in so i bought a couple of cartons of formula at 58p each... LOL
I wouldn't let them expire - i'd rather buy a tin of formula and sell it to my mate for a fiver :rotfl:0 -

I have a 1 year old and work full time, I just don't have the time to prepare her dinners (unless our tea the night before is suitable for her lunch the next day) so I buy a lot of the baby foods. I do feel guilty, but I don't know if I just put that on myself. She has lots of fresh fruit everyday but not fresh veg. I have recently bought those mini steam bags of veg from Asda. Do you think she will get enough vitamins from those mini bags to include it in her lunch?:huh:0

What the hell does the price of formula have to do with breast feeding?
Honestly, it's like a playground here sometimes, "My Dad's bigger than your Dad" and all that crap.
There's nothing worse than b!tchy Mothers who think they know it all, lording it up over each other. Back off and stop trying to throw your opinions down the necks of others, because it gets very tiresome!
By the way, I use Cow&Gate and haven't noticed that going up in price. (I used it with all 3 of mine, and they are 13, 12 and 8 months).
And if there is any spare cake going, can I have a piece please? (Been looking at wedding cakes and I'm drooling lol)Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Hmmmm I dunno... depends on if you're gonna start getting picky over what type of cake it is!
Back on topic - I shall start a money saving thread about formulas and close this one I thinkI can safely say it's so far off track as to be like looking for the EuroStar on the Orient Express line
