Hello everyone.
I know I've been away considerably longer than I said I would be, but can I come back and join you, please? I was back at work last week after a couple of weeks off, and discovered that my work trousers are rather tighter than they were before my holiday.I really need to find the inspiration to shift the extra weight - it looks like there's been some good losses on here while I've been away, so I'm hoping the effect will rub off on me.
Today I've had:
B - thick slice of HM bread with butter and honey; handful of dried apricots
L - pate, coleslaw and tomato sandwich; small packet of savoury seeds
S - pot of fresh mango
D - new potato, egg and bacon salad with garlic bread (not so good); two nectarines
I hope everyone's doing well so far this week.Back after a very long break!0 -
Hi all,
Still not quite home Yet, horrendous few days eating because the choice if you don't eat much meat is very limited so I've had too much cheese and fried stuff and not enough fruit and veg. It shows how your body gets accustomed to good food though, my guts are in tatters after 4 days of rubbish!
We got off the ferry at Portsmouth and drove to southsea for fish & chips and a mushy pea fritter!
Back on track tomorrow with lots of veg and water0 -
floyd - I wish I'd known you were coming through Portsmouth yesterday - I could have waved to you as you went past. :wave: I hope you're feeling better after a day back on proper food.
Today I've had:
B - cherry and almond muesli with semi-skimmed milk
L - pate and watercress sarnie; cherry tomatoes; half a dozen marinated olives (which needed eating before they went off); an apple
S - banana
D - HM veggie pakoras with cucumber raita (made with fat-free yoghurt) and naan bread; fresh mango
I'm pretty pleased with myself today, and just hope I can keep it up.Back after a very long break!0 -
Today i have eaten:
B...Porridge with banana, nectarine, tsp sugar and milk;
Sn...Coffee slice, capuccino with sugar;
L...tea;
D...Roast chicken, turnip, onion, green beans, beetroot, 2 potatoes, tea;
Sn...2 pineapple slices, sl bread and butter.
Good luck all

I love this thread, I'm calorie counting and running to lose weight and keep fit, it's nice to see what other people are eating, makes me feel better!
B: 1/2 scone + coffee
S: banana
L: yoghurt, x2 pancakesx2 french toast home made, no sugar, some strawberries (upset my tummy++ never again)
S: rich tea x2, tea, then the thing that messed the day up: Hersheys kisses (x9 - 210 calories, thank goodness they are so small).
Walk / ran 2.5 miles on account of upset tummy...0
