Well done to all the losers (esp meanmarie..and on holiday too!!), and (((hugs))) to everyone who wants one.

WI today...and I have stayed the same...a bit miffed, but I have been nibbling more...and on chocolate too, so not too surprised!! :o

Really need to get my head and a**e in gear and lose more pounds...would like to lose another half stone or so in the next three weeks, before heading north on holiday the second week in July.

I agree with measuring body-size too...must give DH the tapemeasure this weekend :D I really need to tone up too, which will means I will look lighter/smaller without it actually being true!!

Have a great weekend everyone, looks like summer is making a short appearance again!! Getting stuff together for a car-boot on Sunday...haven't done one in years...not sure if the estate will be big enough!! ;)

Hi, Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Sainsbury's this am was blue murder. Weighed myself this am and another 3lb gone. Roughly 1lb per week which is what I was aiming for. Have given myself a year to loose it. But, being me I want to jump on the scales and 7lb has gone! (I am a woman - never happy)!
Got the Cook Yourself Thin books from the library and one thing really appeals - Chickpea, spinach & cashew nut Korma with Pilaf (yummy).
Making some sag aloo for tonight to go with veggie burger and huge salad.
    Hope you have sunshine

This sounds good let us know your verdict once you've tried it. Are there many veggie receipes in the book?

Have been v. bad so won't list but trying to decide what to have for diner. Will involve salad plus something - it's the something I'm stuck on.

Hi Procrastinator - No, not many veggie things at all (I'm glad I got it from the library & not bought it). They also have a website www.cokyourselfthin.co.uk but you have to pay £7.95 per month. I'm already doing the same thing on a Woman & Home site. You list all the things you have eaten in a day & it works out the cals for you. My sub runs out in August and I wont renew it, I've got into the habit of low cal cooking now.
Some of the papers today were recommending 'Plenty' as a good new veggy cookbook. I had a look at amazon but its loaded with oil (not good for us)!!
