Hi all, well I didn't give in and eat any biccies yesterday at all. Must keep busy today and make sure that temptation doesn't strike (though OH has left an open pack of choc hobnobs on the coffee table )

    Food plan for today:

b: just right and oat milk
    s: nana
l: grilled bacon and poached egg on a breakfast muffin
d: chicken breasts with roasted ratatouille (meant to be lower in fat)

Might make some low fat nana cakes later as have lots of browning nanas that no-one will eat (why do they ask me to buy them when they don't even eat them???)

  • Hi
Had the lasagne last night with lots of veg only couple of small potatoes as used up the last in the bag. Need to shop today and kids want pizza. We have it with lots of salad. Have an aubergine in the fridge, DD found a recipe that says to grill on a griddle pan but I don't have one, if I just brush with oil and put slices under the grill do you think that will be ok?

  • procrastinator- that will be fine, I have done them on the BBQ in the past, also done it with sliced courgettes.
Have very little fresh food in house ie 1/2 cucumber ,2 pepper,a couple of pots 1 carrot.
The thing is I hate paying the full price when I have had bargins /reduced price for things.
    May go shopping tonight.
  • morning.

Ended up staying at friends all day so had lunch and dinner there.
ham sandwich a hand full of kettle crisps, and a cornetto for lunch and a BBQ for dinner with some Pymms to wash it down, so got most of my 5 a day in there with some melon to follow.

So my menu for today will be as it should have been yesterday(barring something better coming along ):)

well it took me a while to get over my [STRIKE]headache[/STRIKE]hangover this morning.

    B: 1 x toast, 2 pain killers, orange juice
    S: crisps
    L: Salad and chips
    S: maybe banana
    D: BBQ at friends

It was going to be salad for lunch but I still felt rough so decided salt and carbs needed and it has done the trick - best I've felt all day.
