Welcome to mummy to jack you sound really enthusiastic this time so take each day and you'll be fine - I too eat in the evenings so I allow myself things to eat in the evening (ryvita, squash chips - cut squash up into wedge shapes spray with lo-cal oil and pop in the oven, I prefer savoury stuff and that really takes the edge off or if you prefer sugery stuff what about making up some sugarfree jelly with fruit in the morning and then you can eat it in the evening!).
I'm sorry to hear about your interviews newlywed - something will come up soon - i'm sending my good thoughts to you.2010 has got to be better than the last two years!! :rotfl:
Weight loss to date: 3 Stone & 5lbs!! Weight loss this week: 2 lbs !!:j0 -

floyd what is it with you and Malteaser.
ha ha is it that obvious? My workplace is populated by women that are permanently on diets, Slimming World, calorie counting, low fat, low GI, whatever it is, we are all allowed malteasers in one form or another without feeling guilty but we have all developed such an obsession they creep in when we make indulgent treats as well like cheesecake or icecream cake :rotfl:
I didn't resist the cheesecake but I had a very small piece and factored it into my daily plan so I don't feel the slightest bit guilty
Hoping to get another bike ride in this week but not sure when.
Welcome to the new folk and well odne to all who are persevering0 -

Hope everyone is doing well. I've bought some weight watchers cookbooks (yes my addiction to cookery books) on e bay. Will be trying some WW veggie Indian cookery soon (I hope)! Must dig out the yoghurt maker. Its taking me an age to shop now as I read all the blooming packets - noticed the other day Quorn sausages 50 odd calories & Linda Mccartney over 100cals - ha I can eat twice as many Quorn...
Best wishes0 -
Think I better join back in, just started a thread about quitting smoking - which I did 2 years ago and gained 2 stone. About to venture into the world of a non-smoker again lost 1 stone of the weight gain - I do look better as I was under weight before.
I got lots of healthy snacks in for Sunday, so I will be popping onto this thread as well.0 -
Hi all,
Really fed up today, I had a sneaky weigh-in and really wish I hadn't as it said I'd put ON 3lb
Suspect it might be a combination of all the cycling I've been doing and going through on my pill so I am water-retention heavy as well. Feel really down about it but its my own fault for weighing early
B: Sustain cereal and skimmed milk
L: Jacket spud with beans and a little cous cousMalaysian vegetable noodles
S: HM ginger cake and ice cream, piece of rocky road and a mini battenburg (self-destruct mode methinks)
Hopefully will be too busy tomorrow to snack or think about my bad day0 -
floyd-well they do say muscle weighs more than fat!!!!
I also had a sneekey peek at another friends but will keep mum until offically weighed in tomorrow as friend 1 has really accurate weighing scales.they give your metabolic age which is 61 oh well not long till free bus pass then..
Went cycling and then walked into town and back.
But I had a Subway turky cheese and salad with ranch dressing....
Bread makes me want to eat and have had a difficult day food wise, and peroid pains to boot.
today I have eaten.
B-granola yog blueberries
L-6" sub of the day, tangerine
D-broad beans, brown rice, large chicken curry
S-2 oat cakes with cashewnut butter, 1 apple, nakd coco loco bar.0
