Well it keeps coming off (3.5lbs this week!) but I was really surprised as i didnt think it would this week but the hot weather has helped as I've been eating lots more chicken and salad and pasta (weighing portions!) then son came home and at 9.45pm ordered a kebab and yes nicked 3 bits of meat even though I dont really like the stuff (it was the smell!!) - how come teenagers dont get heartburn when they eat late at night???

    Hi all,

OK day today for me, I had a little slip that hopefully I've rectified by doing 8 miles on my bike :)

B: Bran flakes and semi skimmed milk

L: 2 small wholemeal rolls with a little caerphilly cheese and HM chutney

D: Wholemeal linguine with HM roasted pepper sauce and HM focaccia and side salad

S: 1 pear and a slice of ice cream cake about the size of a pack of cards ;) (its basically cheap vanilla ice cream mixed with crushed Malteasers, pistachio nuts, choccy fingers and re-frozen)

I'm hoping the biking will at least go some way to cancelling out the ice cream cake heh heh and it also got me out of the house and into the sunshine so its a win-win :)

Deliver me from evil  there is a HM Malteaser cheesecake in the office!

I am really trying so hard but people are testing me to my limit. I also discovered yesterday that the HM focaccia is a lot higher in calories than I had thought so its no wonder I have STS by making it twice in a fortnight :o

B: 2 small wholemeal rolls with cheese spread (run out of bread and cereal is stale)

    L: Jacket potato & beans

D: Chicken zorba with a little brown rice and a wholemeal pitta

S: Maybe a pear and skinny cappuccino

Hopefully I can resist temptation

I sooooooooo need to be apart of this thread to hopefully try and motivate me into shifting my weight so hope you all don't mind me joining in.

I need to lose 8 stone  I feel awful, look awful and cannot believe what I have done to my body over the last 6 yrs

I have tried every diet going, have lost weight in the past whilst doing these diets but always put it back on plus more.

I am 31 this yr and really do not want to carry on the way I am going else I can see my self being 25stone + by the time I am 40

This time however I AM going to do it, My DS starts school this year so want to start shifting the weight for him as in a few years time I don't want him to be a target for bullies because his mum is fat.

I have really sat and thought about my addiction with food ...Something I have never ever done before, so that is an achievement in itself :rotfl:
I have realised that the worse time for me is at night when DS is in bed & DH is in his office working so I am sat on my Larry watching TV with just snacks for company.. So from today there will be no snacks in the house, and I intend to be in bed by 10 :30 at the latest, so that should sort out that little habit of mine. :rotfl:

I plan to start myself on 1500 cals a day - will reduce in time
Do 30 mins Wii fit everyday & try to fit in a walk for us all between tea time and bedtime.

    Anyway enough of my ramblings

    My menu for today is:

Breakfast - Sugar puffs with Semi skimmed Milk

    Lunch - Beans on toast

Tea - Jacket potato with ham salad

Snacks will be - fruit & Yoghurt.

Thank you so much for reading this.. I really needed to get all the above off my chest!

Hope you all have a good day.. x

    Well done Genius
    Hi again procrastinator
Well done Floyd for resisting from evil
    Hello mummyjack

    Mummyjack well done for getting the motivation to join and to look at why things have gone wrong before, just 2 thoughts;
before choosing a calorie limit work out what you have been eating and then reduce it, 1500 is a good dieting limit but its very hard to reduce it, so you might be better sticking to 2000 recommended until you have shifted the first bit of weight.

Also could you help your DH in his office in the evenings? this would take you away from tempation, give you company and hopefully help DH finisher up earlier so you can have an evening.

My weigh day is tomorrow if I've STS i'll be happy as had a few days away at beginning of month and know I piled on 3lbs then. Fingers crossed.

    Today:
B: 2 slices fresh bread and spreadable butter
L: cheese salad wraps, crisps and bottled drink
    S: banana
D: pork loin and something, mostly veg for me will try not to add any carbs.
