Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I hope you don't mind, peeps, but I've decided to halt the whole diet thing, just for a couple of weeks. I've been suffering from bad stomach pains which my doctor thinks are probably stress related, and it has occurred to me that the quickest way to remove one source of stress is to stop watching everything I eat for a while. :(

I will try and stick to a fairly healthy diet, though, which should prevent me undoing all my good work from the past few weeks, and I'll be back as soon as I've got my general health back under control. If I don't come back in a couple of weeks, please come looking for me and nag me into coming back, as I really do need to lose some more weight! ;)

MrsWoolfe - good luck to you and your husband in your attempts to sort out your respective weights - it must make life very difficult when you're trying to do opposite things. My thoughts to you both over the 'dark times' you've been having, too.
Back after a very long break!

    Hi Guys,

And thanks for all the welcome...awww feeling all glowy now!:)

It's yes I have most certainly learned how much of an effect stress has! At first I barely ate..probably for the first month or so, weight dropped off me, not that I really noticed it but then as I started pulling myself together and eating again I ballooned!:o DH on the other hand struggled with knowing how to help and how to cope with his own feelings, stopped looking after himself and unfortunately as he has one of those annoyingly fast metabolisms the weight dropped off him so so fast....

It actually took an episode of Supersize VS Superskinny to make him see how bad he was (scarily he was not far off one of the Skinnies on the show)....

But anyway onwards and upwards, i know the best thing I can do is make sure we are both healthy and happy and that's what we are doing!...so waffle over down to the important bit!

yesterday was ok except I had a driving lesson at lunch and didnt quite get round to eating my sandwich:
B Activia Yogurt with small serving of Oats & more.
    S Banana
L: Pear, Apple, handful of walkers sensations ( worked into my cal range so ok)
    Dinner: HM ovenchips, egg...

Cal Count:1,327 ( my Target range is 1,500 to 1,800)

Could have been a better dinner but also did an interval training session on the exercise bike (30mins...and boy did I feel it!!!!) followed by 40mins strength work before dinner...so hopefully balances out!:D

    Today:
    B: Activia Yog/ Cereal
    S: Banana, Pear
L: Turkey Sandwich- lots of salad and a couple of strips of turkey, another handful of sensations.
    S Apple
D Garlic marinated Chicken (in the oven as we speak and the smell is YUM!) 1tbsp mash (olive oil) corn on the cob...

    Cal Count: 1,693

No exercise today other than quick walk round the grounds at lunchtime...desperately trying to resist getting on the scales til tomorrow...find it helps keep me on track for the weekend..

This weekend might be a little off track as it's my birthday on saturday and am going to Mum's...she's trying to make my fav dishes that Dad used to make, thankfully mostly seafood (prawns in red sauce and squid mmmmm) but I know she'll be making lots of savories like samosas etc for DH cause she likes to feed him up...must resist!

ON the other hand though will also have my (almost 2yr old) niece for the wkend and she keeps me running around for most of the day (why did I think it was a good idea to swing her round and chase her round the garden?!?!?!?)

Thanks again all for the lovely welcome!

    Evening all,

Welcome Mrs Woolfe...take it easy you will lose the weight when you are ready.

    Today I have eaten:

    B...Bacon sandwich;

    D....huge salad with flatbread, chicken and cheese, tea;

    Sn...clementine, banana, handful raisins.

That seems like very little for me, did spend most of the day in garden, so was away from temptation....weigh in tomorrow.

Hi guys, I have been missing in action for months, I was diagnosed with ME and have had no energy and all I want to do is sleep, however I have now put 10lbs on and can't allow it, so back on track diet wise and I have to find the energy to go back to the gym slowly I think...... Going to need all the luck I can get. :o0

    Morning (just),

I have run the freezer & fridge down to nothing so I think we're eating out tonight if not its macorni cheese so was going to try and be good today but have just been asked if I fancy lunch.......

    so today looks like:
    B: Toast 1 honey 1 peanut butter
L: prawn & avocado salad (this is very restrained for me I wanted jacket spud & chilli!)
D: take away prob chinese or indian - may try the veggie options as I fancy a drink tonight and its all too easy to have your entire 2000 cals in booze & a takeaway :o

I'm at home this weekend and I'm studying so must try not to shop until late sunday so that there are no nice nibbles in the house! Have a load of bananas for snacks if I'm hungry.

Have a good weekend all enjoy the sunshine!

    Hya folks

Well done MrsWoolfe...the weight will continue coming off if you keep up the exercise...my downfall atm.

Saying that...I have lost a pound this week! :j This is my first loss for May, so I am ecstatic!!

Really must get moving again, the crushed toe is healing slowly, though the other foot is coming out in sympathy (arthritis methinks, or corn/bunion??), and I can hardly wear anything on my feet atm. Off to the docs next Tuesday...was going to try the nurse, but the receptionist thought I should see a doc...we'll see what he/she says then. Honestly, if it not one thing, it's another! I am a wreck...though much better than last year!

    Food for today:

B: Porridge with soya milk, water & sultanas, OJ
    S: nothing - funeral
D: 4 ryvita crackerbreads with Tesco extra-light cheese spread (garlic & herb...nom-nom!), one large tomato sliced, then a banana
    S: 2 small jaffa-cakes (well, Lidl's ones)
T: HM Spag bol with wholewheat pasta
    S: ?

Have a great weekend everyone, enjoy the lovely weather.
