newlywed - you must be  about your flowers. Will they pay compensation for the damage, or is that a silly question?
I live in a housing association place and the workmen were contracted by them to do some wiring/cabling outside the block of flats. So hugely unlikely I think!! I have leaves from my rose scattered all over the gardenGoing to check later to see exactly what needs pruning off - after my hayfever tablets kick in.
Anyway. There was chocolate yesterday. Today I have job interview so somewhat stressed. Then this afternoon I have to sign on.
Food so far:
b: fake just right cereal and oat milk
l: jacket and beans - jackets are baking in the oven so I can just zap them and have no excuses for the egg and bacon I had yesterday for lunch :shhh::o
d: baked low fat breaded cod with veg
Welcome to all newcomers. :wave:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Welcome all newbies and congratulations on the weightloss CCP! I'm afraid to use another scales in case I actually weigh more.....

L: Mushroom risotto (small portion)HM fish nuggets, chips and beans
Snacks: couple of chocolate mint thins, 2x dry crackers
Also went for a run and spent a couple of hours stripping layers of very old wallpaper....Which has released very strange smells! My house now smells like no-one's lived in it for years.....0 -
Hi all,
Good day for me apart from dreadful hayfever, pinched a Clarytin from someone in work (normally take Zirtek but mine were out of date) and not only did the Clarytin not touch my hayfever, it left me feeling exhausted
B: Bran flakes and milk
L: HM chickpea curry and brown rice, 1 raspberry yoghurtHM spaghetti matriciana and wholemeal spaghetti
S: 1 pear, few strawbs, small skinny latte and a small piece of HM ginger cake
Well done to all losers, hope I can get back on track properly this week.
I gave in to temptation and tried on the new trousers, they fit in the sense that I can get them on, do them up and sit down in thembut I'd prefer them to be a little less snug so it has spurred me on to keep at it

My hayfever has been mad today. I once read something about cloudy windy days being worst as the cloud traps all the pollen down here or something
I once took benadryll and it was horrendous - it made it much worse and gave me a bad headache and felt awful. Clarityn works ok with me but today its not helping. I need to go back to the doc and get some more prescription stuff as it seems to last longer than clarityn.
Anyway,
Been for interview, think it went ok should hear about second interviews soon, came home had a phone call about another job so another interview possibly next week, and then had to go sign on. I may have had some chocolate chip brioche somewhere in between all that but no actual choc bars so possibly better than usualThe job center depresses me incredibly
and then I eat
Hope everyone has had a good day.

Today I have eaten:
Brunch...large salad with 1 slice ham, tomato, lettuce, beetroot, spoonful potato salad, bread and butter, tea.
Dinner...roast lamb roast potatoes, small baked potato, large helping turnip, tablespoon onion gravy, slice pineapple cake, tea.
Snacks....banana, slice pineapple.
Really feel that I have eaten more, but can't remember anything else....maybe I am beginning to eat normally???

MarieWeight 08 February 86kg0 -
morning!
CCP - well done on the weight loss!:T
newlywed - my fingers are crossed for you on the job front!
newlywed and floyd - hope the hayfever eases x
no weigh in for me tonight as I'm at work but my scales say I've lost a little so am pleased.I'm off to Devon tomorrow so there will be plenty of temptations as I'm going with Mum and she's a dreadful eater so is bound to lead me astray(it doesn't take much:D) but I'll enjoy it and get back on the plan as soon as I get back
B - beans on toast
L - possibly tomato soup and ryvita
D - quorn toad in the hole, spuds and veg
fruit and yoghurt
have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all!
newlywed / floyd - I know what you mean about the different types of hayfever tablets. There seem to be two kinds that are generally sold where I live - one type cures my hayfever, the other type cures it but leaves me with a nasty sick headache that lasts for several days.Last time I needed some I used the prescription my GP gave me and bought some over the internet, using a tip from the MSE weekly email - they worked out at about 50p a packet, including postage, saving me a small fortune in NHS prescription charges. :money:
newlywed - re your flowers - it might be worth asking the workmen and/or the housing association about compensation for your flowers if they're really badly damaged. I tend to work on the basis of 'if you don't ask, you don't get', and it's amazing what you can get if you ask.
Yesterday's food was:
Breakfast - two slices of HM granary bread (well, one slice and a lot of crumbs as it was a seriously crumbly loaf) with butter and honey; banana
Snack - apple
Lunch - tuna, egg and salad cream sandwich (bought rather than HM, and very yummy indeed - I'll be trying that combination myself); pack of very garlicky olives; fruit smoothie
Dinner - chilli con carne with smoked cheese, cherry tomatoes and oven chips
Today is / will be:
Breakfast - banana and walnut muesli with semi skimmed milk; glass of fruit juice
Snack - pack of mixed dried fruit
Lunch - low fat cream cheese, salami and tomato on HM seed bread (aka sliced brick - my bread-making mojo seems to have deserted me at the moment); two kiwi fruit
Dinner - leeks and ham in cheese sauce with more sliced brick to mop up the sauce
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
