well done to Rainbow and raspberry:T:T

Suzid - well done to your DH:T and good luck to you for your weigh in.

I've just got back from weigh in and have lost 2lbs this week:j so am chuffed:D

I like Cadburys Highlights for my choccy fix as I find the Options one is hard to dissolve although it does come in a larger variety of flavours.

Well done to all the losers...2 pounds seems to be a favourite loss this week...here's hoping for Friday! :D

Just had a lovely roast pork tea tonight. It is our last "family tea" together before DS1 heads off back to Uni on Sunday (going to be @ GF's between now and then). GF is over too, so it is good to catch up with her. It's nice to have a girlie natter once in a while...and she is great fun, if quite a bit mad! I have a house full of men normally...except the dog (!), so it is a nice change.

Right, off back to sewing the book mark...over half way there now...only started yesterday, so should finish tomorrow.

Will let you know what the scales say on Friday!

thought i would rejoin this again:o as restarted my diet again and have so far lost 3.5lbs, not down to exercise though as have sciataca and back hurts badly daily so am wary what exercises i can do, not allowed to do games on the wii anymore and so just trying to keep going with what i can, dont think weightloss is going to be good this week as just had 4 slices of toast (comfort food:o) and i have 2 cakes tomorrow!! one is a choc cake which my mum made for me:D

we are getting a treadmill in the next few weeks so am starting off with walking and building up fitness while rest of family will use it for running etc

got loads of good weightloss recipes ie lentil curry, casserole so making them in the next few days, drinking loads of water, reducing portions and eating less bread/pasta, well im trying to, failed badly tonight though

taplady, well done on the 2lb loss, thats great:T also congrats to everyone else who has lost, my weigh in is sunday so will keep fingers crossed i lose some this week although doubtful :D

    Hi all,
had a bit of an absence as had SIL, her OH and 3 kids down for the weekend. So madhouse with 4 adults and 5 children and lots of snacks and drinks:p.
Anyway, I weighed myself today as I'd missed my WI and I've put on 1lb. At least it wasn't more I suppose.
Anyway, back on the wagon today! I too am going for the 'non-diet' diet. At least I might be able to keep that up and I think it's the snacking that does it for me. I have to maintain my blood sugar or I start getting anxious and eating crap really quickly. However, I think I have to learn to eat small portions often rather than fully meals often!;)

Well I've had a rubbish week, been munching like mad. Started today positively by running on the spot in front of breakfast telly for 6 minutes and doing 20 situps. Haven't eaten yet, will have an apple and some grapes and focus today on water and exercise!

hi all - and there are many of you! good to see we are all pushing in the same direction.

My mum is caught up in the volcanio ash problem and so hasn't returned to her home in Cyprus yet but is now staying with me until a flight is available, this has thrown things out of routine but I've managed to be reasonable good considering.

Monday's evening meal was bean chilli (mum's favourite)
Tuesday was a friends birthday meal out
Wed was sausages with savoury rice and peas

    Today:
B: toast with honey (it needs using) x 2
L: left over savoury rice & 1 sausage (Left at home! ham&cheese sarny instead)
    S: WW fromage frais
D: salmon, new pots & lots of veg

hope you're all enjoying the sunshine.

Hello. Can I come and join this thread, please?

I need to lose about 10kg - that's ... goes off and calculates ... 22lb (I do everything in kilos as that's what my cheapie scales measure in and it's easier than trying to use my rubbish maths skills to calculate backwards and forwards each time).

I won't be doing a 'proper' diet - i.e. calorie counting or anything like that - just eating more healthily and less of it. I've previously lost 12kg dieting like this so I know it works for me, if I stick to it. ;)

I've made a start by unsubscribing from the 'what have you baked today?' thread, which I find a dreadful temptation - I keep thinking 'ooh, that sounds nice' and 'ooh, I must try that' - and end up 10kg over the weight I should be. :o I've also re-signed up to graze deliveries from next week - they're not cheap but their stuff is really tasty and very good at dissuading me from buying a bag of crisps or a sausage roll to go with my lunch (my other great weakness :o).

    My meals for today:

B - mini shredded wheat with stewed pears and mixed dried berries () with milk (semi-skimmed lactose free stuff)
    Snack - banana
L - HM baked beans, chunks of LO boiled bacon, green salad; fruit of some kind (my fruit and veg delivery hadn't arrived when I left for work, so I'll have to go and buy something)
D - mushroom wellington (not very healthy, I know, but better than the steak pie I had originally planned to eat), mashed celeriac (no butter :(), some sort of green veg

Apologies for the long first post - I'll try for short and sweet from now on (difficult for me as I do tend to ramble! :o).
Back after a very long break!

Well yesterday wasn't too good. But am determined that today will be better.

b: Two slices of wholemeal toast with erm nutella :o
s: cereal bar and a banana
l: not decided yet maybe tuna pasta and pesto or maybe tuna salad.
d: breaded fish fillets and veg.

Have already done an hour and a half on the wii fit, and need some bits from sainsbug later so might go for a walk to get them (half hour each way).
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
